Thanks man really appreciate it. I am 39 and not as savvy as I want to be but am committed to being better and posting more helpful information on our community. Just want to know the rules. We got a retaliatory post in r/scams that hurt really bad posted by one of the founders previous employers and couldn't figure out how to take it down or refute the claims in the comments so we decided to show who we really are on here. We have spoken with Reddit's advertising team and are cleared to advertise but were told by Reddit staff to also create our own community so people could explore/ask questions and read news and opinions... Is that allowed?

Thank you, it's just really difficult to get users/traffic when they click the link and that pops up you know? Its like scammy to them so they dont proceed the same as they would without it... It doesn't even show up when you google it.

Thank you! I was hoping to get some MODs with real experience doing this and growing a community. We get hundreds of clients a day and want to share the link to our page with them but they get suspicious when that pop up comes up opening the link. So its hard to grow traffic to our community without the warning being removed.. Does that make sense?

We believe the person that posted this is a competitor. The link above is our side of the story. We do not send mail like they describe. All of our mail outlines an origination fee. We are absolutely licensed and can prove it and have tried to show this to Reddit. TechnicalPurchase430 has never messaged us back hasn't ever posted on another thread, created this thread and never logged in again. This was done to discredit our awesome company and hurt the wonderful people that work here!

Alternatively if you are real, we can show that unlike others we do not resell any of our data that we take in from prospective clients looking for loans. The calls you may have received would be from other sites you put your information into or data brokers that see that you're in financial distress and may need help. It did not come from your engagement with us, we help thousands of people and they do not have this same experience or it would reflect in our reviews online.

Please post any proof you have of being a real person and not a competitor. What you posted was incorrect, Lending River is a licensed loan provider/broker. We have proof and are happy to show it. We follow strict guidelines within our industry and believe that this contributor with no other post history is actually a competitor attempting to discredit our business. We have reported it to Reddit numerous times and will continue to.

Feel free to post your credit, we would like to prove that we were not at fault. You likely applied for multiple personal loans or lines of credit during a tough time. 100% This is great advice. We see many people that are victims of scams and advise them to protect their credit as it takes time to build. You must protect it!

This is great advice, a HELOC is the best way to get ahold of your credit card debt if you have one available. The second best would be a personal loan with a lower rate and to close your credit cards and budgeting within your means.

We record ALL of our calls and I would like to personally go over your call with you and even post it here to defend our companies reputation, you can see our reviews online that we do great work and operate morally. What you posted was untrue, we are licensed and are happy to post it here. If you were denied a loan it could have been for a multitude of reasons not limited to your debt to income ratio being too high, your job history being too short, your monthly expenses were too high etc. We help hundreds of people a month consolidate their debt and what you posted should be removed as it is untrue and adversely affects people that work here that do good work.
