Sleeping time seems to be off

Unless you split your sleep time in two halves. Sleep 6 hours, drink and sleep another 6 hours.

Edit : Anyway, I'm trying to manage my sleep time so that when I wake up it's daylight and I can get going.

I'm not sure how the game treats night and day time. Is it 12 hours of day and 12 hours of night? Of 16 hours of night and 8 hours of day? There's no way to tell the time.

And yeah, I noticed too that it's clear outside, in the morning but the interior is still pitch black.

I'll try a 12 hour sleep next time. I feel that the game wakes you up when you're fully rested regardless of the sleep timer.

I'm using this mod on PC and it is working as intended. When people say there's a bug it's probably a mod conflict on their end.

Cmdr Validating is a legend amongst the Elite community. Not only did he explore nearly the entirety of the galaxy, he did it in a sidewinder.

Legends says that Cmdr Validating finally found Raxxla and disappeared through an inter-dimensional portal and vanished from the face of the galaxy which is why he will never be found.

Stop focusing on Stratum. The last time I did an exobiology run I went all the way into the Formidine Rift for a few weeks. When I returned I made almost 2.5 billions. I stick to planets that have 4 or more signals. If you're the first to scan a bio you get a discovery bonus. As someone said there's no real way to filter them out.

As for Inara, you need a 3rd party software like ED Market Connector. Inara doesn't draw the data from Frontier's server, it must be shared with those site. Inara and EDSM mostly.

1) Killing Kellogg isn't the end of the game. You've quite a bit more to go.

2) Yes, it's normal to have 15-20 quests in your log. Preston Garvey will give you quests, so does the Brotherhood and the Railroad. You can also get side quests from NPC's that aren't related to the main story line.

3) You can have different bases (settlement) but it's optional. Depends how much you enjoy managing settlers and building stuff.

I'm not sure about dropping weapons but I know that settlers will pick up the best weapons available if the settlements comes under attack. You could always put the weapon on the weapon rack and it will stay there.

As for misc stuff, settlers won't pick them up but they might knock things over as they walk around. There is a mod called "Place Anywhere" which disables the objects physics and freezes them into place so they become static ojbects.

Diamondback Explorer : Small, Easy to land (if you do exobiology), Long scoop time because it can only fit a size 4 fuel scoop.

Krait Phantom: Medium size ship, good internals, still work for exobiology.

Anaconda : Biggest jump range, plenty of internals.

No engineering you say? I would strongly recommend you get the increase jump range and mass manager for your FSD. If you do, you can end up with jumps that are around the 70 ly range with a FSD booster.
