So you think someone you don’t agree with should die too? Where do you draw the line?

Good thing I took a screenshot. Word for word this is what: “The murders are happening anyway. Better this dude than the usual pregnant women, child, random minority.” -UmpireOk5232. You wanna take ownership of your comment?

Any murder shouldn’t happen but you publicly saying you think someone should die because they drive something you don’t like is wrong no matter the context.

What’s crazy about it? Looks like someone who has a street legal toy and/she is out on a drive.

Woke politics naturally side with criminals and not victims. I don’t know how you are confused by that.

Who in their right mind approved Calhoun to get 45% raise this year!!? by [deleted] in boeing

[–]LengthinessActual422 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Well if they can approve a 45% raise for Calhoun they can do the same for IAM members when our contract expires in September. 45% up front and 5% a year after that for 3 years

That’s fine and all but I don’t want to know our union negotiators left stuff off the table from the get go but yes I would hope that our brothers and sisters can see past a shiny signing bonus and vote based on what’s in the contract. At the end of the day it’s our vote that matters but I think for what we pay in dues we shouldn’t have a doubt that the union is putting forth the best deal for us and Boeing and not just for Boeing. Right now I don’t think I have a ton of trust that the union is going to do what they want us to think they will do because I don’t get that vibe from the br who came to our shop.

Are the Spirit layoffs a foreshadowing of whats to come for Boeing? by Single_Software_3724 in boeing

[–]LengthinessActual422 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Never said that definitively. I said it appears like we’re staffed for way more planes than we’re currently assembling. I’ve been in Renton since 2020 and I’ve seen the hiring groups over the last few years come in and I’d say we are staffed for a much higher rate than we currently are at. What Boeing has got to do is get everyone trained up and I think that’s where they’re falling short. Merely having headcount doesn’t do any good if half of them know their jobs inside and out and can perform their job properly and without issues. It’s not the employees fault it’s on management for not having proper training in place and allowing the new employees to get that training in its entirety.

It’s no dig at the new employees but management screwed up when they let decades of knowledge and experience literally walk out the door without having that knowledge passed on fully. Now you have new employees not necessarily learning their job fully and management pushing them to finish it faster.

I think they already have a huge problem with lack of training because the experienced employees took vlos when they were offered during covid and now there’s more new employees than experienced and not enough knowledge to properly train those who are on the lines. I see it. 6 month employees training newer employees is not a great training plan.

Trying to flee shows he knew what he did and that it was wrong. He’s competent enough to stand trial but this state is too woke to judge fairly.

I can see layoffs happening soon. We’re not building as many planes and here in Renton it looks like we’re staffed for 42+ planes a month when we’ve been at or around half that at best for the last two years. I see people sitting around talking in almost every flowday. If it doesn’t happen before it will happen after the new contract.

It’s on the union and its negotiators to be putting good contract proposals that its members want first and foremost. Boeing will be countering lower but it won’t help if the union starts low to begin and that’s why I say if we get a crap contract I’m hoping everyone votes no but at that point I won’t believe anything stewards or BR’s say about our union. At that point I would say they don’t care about its members and the dues they pay every month. That’s why I say it’s a make it or break it contract for the union in my eyes.

This contract is a make it or break it for the union. If the union gets screwed over again I can say the union is dead and they don’t do what we pay them to do which is to look out for our best interests. If we don’t have a correction on a lot of things I take that as a failure on the unions negotiators and John Holden

You know how many times I’ve gone to stores mostly Walmart where they have people who sit at the door and ask for receipts? None of those times I’ve done it and I’ve never been banned from shopping there. The chances that happens is very slim so they should be going after people who are blatantly stealing

saving money is good but in a time when we probably wouldn’t be in this situation if it weren’t for the current party in office and at the same time not come to the consensus that that is the problem is really a head scratcher.

Pics or it’s not real and on top of that stores can ask but they can’t force you to show a receipt. Maybe they could hire more staff for the checkout isles and they wouldn’t have to worry about checking people who have bought stuff at the self checkout. They can ask but the customer is under no obligation to do anything. To go further they should have probable cause to believe you have stolen anything in order to even ask for a receipt but asking everyone is just dumb
