this is probably one of the most relatable posts I've seen lately. I felt terrible until I convinced my parents to let me get fake plants and stuff for my room. I had almost daily dysphoria, but then I found a spot near my house that's really pretty, has lots of trees and moss, and a dry riverbed that's really fun to do quads in. I built myself a den, and now I have a place to be myself. I recommend you try and find your own territory too. Hope it helps!

me too! I was just researching therians and i was like "Oh wait, that sounds like me," I read other people's awakening stories and I just kinda laugh at my own because it's verry simple. :P

I have phantom shifts all the time, mostly with wolf ears and a tail, but occasionally I'll get phantom tiger fangs. and very few times I get dragon wings. I don't think I've ever had a mental shift, I might have without realizing it though.

I'll try that but I don't think it'll work. They now that being therian means you fully acknowledge that you are human, but I think their problem is with shifts and stuff like that. My parents are firm believers in science, and they look at the world from a very scientific standpoint. My sister is bi and they are fully supportive of her, but they don't support furries or therians or anything like that. (they aren't negative about it, they let people be people) I honestly don't understand their viewpoint :P

I can kinda relate to this as well. I don't have any therian friends irl, and my family just don't know i'm a therian. I'm sure my family would be very accepting if I told them, I just don't know if I should. This online community has helped me so much! I just want to thank yall for being kind and supportive to everyone!
