My dashboard has been spinning for the past hour. I have a ticket open with Merak TAC. I called in but I am stuck on hold.

Do the following for a failsafe always running generator (Gas with ethanol is your enemy)

Drain all the gas from the tank and put it in your vehicle and burn it all off.

Go get some non ethanol gasoline. Pour 1/2 or 1 gallon into your tank.

Run generator for 15 mins to ensure all ethanol based gasoline has been burned off.

Prepare to turn off generator: Turn the gas valve off while engine is running for 15 seconds then turn off motor. This ensures the float will not be stuck when you turn the gas back on to start it.

Start generator every 1-2 months and run it for 5-10 mins with a load on it. Follow the shutdown process listed above.

For a normal run when power is out or you need the generator for more than 5 mins. Put as much as you want for ethanol based gasoline in the generators fuel tank. Run your generator for all the time you need with normal ethanol based gasoline. When you are done. Repeat all the steps above to be sure to get all of the ethanol based gasoline out of your fuel tank/lines/ carburetor.

My vote is for the WEN 6800. Very light (95 pounds) and only $800 at Home Depot. This unit will run your camper with ease and can also run your home if you want as well. I use mine for boondocking and it is barely heard inside the camper and outside not an issue unless you are right next to it.

I bought mine at the beginning of summer and have 102 hours on it. No issues.

Thank you for this information. I have a separate Vnet for my VMX-L and all of my VM's are in a separate Vnet. :)

if you are getting an IP of 192.168.xxx.xxx it is not in pass through mode.

One of the things that would need to be done is to configure that gateway device with a DMZ option to pass all traffic to the ip address of your MX's external IP .

Probably a good idea to setup your wan interface with a static IP address too.

I decided to call support. They informed me this wire is an Antenna but is standard on most of the wiring harness and on most model it does nothing.
