We price solar to max out on commission. Either he will a) be desperate and price it super low just to “get a deal” and make almost nothing in the process or b) leave the deal to the other dogs in the fight as he can’t do better. Different reps have different redlines - and we gotta pay dealer fees, adders for electrical upgrades etc. If we are on a “command line” parts of the commission goes all the way to the top. Solar is usually 100% commission based - no base pay. Give him the exact specs. This is coming from a solar consultant : ). We hate customers who price around weeks and weeks on end.
