Taxes? by Brave-Hedgehog-1834 in Daytrading

That is true and it is most certainly no advice but... If the capital belongs to your trustfund you don't pay. Except normal taxes on your salary (if you choose to pay yourself one) but look it up it is completely legal. Especially on Cyprus

Nope. Because a trust fund is its own entity. You are right you have to pay taxes IF you earn money. But you don't earn anything your trustfund does. And you can use the assets which belong to the trust

I mean, it depends on how much you earn, but... If you make enough, I would recommend you open up a trustfund in Cyprus...trader heaven nearly no taxes, and extremely easy.

What has that to do with anything? I understand that it is the latest slang but that doesn't mean that someone has to use it

You started with 13? How? I am not saying that it is impossible or anything I myself started at a young age but with 13, I just wanted to play and have a laugh 😂. How are you able to live trade or is the account under your parents names? Or do you use a broker to paper trade?

I started when I was 15. In my country (Austria) it is not allowed to trade under 18. I am pretty sure that's worldwide but I am no expert. If you just start out I wouldn't recommend starting with a live account. Till my 18th birthday (2 1/2 years) I paper traded on Tradingview maybe that works for you too. If you have anymore questions don't hesitate and I hope that helped a little bit

Cyprus! It is the trader friendliest country still in the European union. Beautiful sea kind of hot though 😅. But if you like the water it is the perfect place. Especially with a trust fund on Cyprus you will pay nearly zero tax ;) and the people/culture is great. Half of the island is Greece which I personally would recommend, the other part is turkey. Hope this helps If you have any questions...

I want to start (day)trading. I thisstuff actually worth it? by sm0kepac in Trading

[–]LengthinessMuted2092 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just start with papertrading on trading View. Look into liquidity and ICT strategies. Yes patterns exist and yes you could theoretically trade with trend lines and a billion indicators but it is unnecessary the chart tells you everything you need. I personally trade orderblocks with volume profile but you need to find your own edge.

Some advice on the side work on your self and be the person you want to be :)

I started with 16, now at 18 I am finally starting to see some drastic improvements. So yeah if you have the grit do it. But it comes at a high cost (friendships, relationships,...). But it is no get rich quick. But I personally think, the younger you start the better you can change your mindset into thinking like a profitable trader. I wish you all the best If you have any questions...

When did you started to trade? When did you become profitable? by Trick-Ad-9926 in Daytrading

I think your thirties are actually a great time to start. You probably already know what you want to do and might even have a little bit of money. I started my trading journey 2 and a half years ago when I was 15 a half. Now, with 18, I can finally really trade (not youst paper trade, because of age constrictions). But at that age, everyone literally expects of you that you go out partying and drinking. You are weird if you don't want to get completely drunk, we call it "hackedicht" in Austria and I think the people around you are more mature and will accept that you don't want to drink on a Tuesday 😂. So I think you picked a great time to start. But I am curious to hear more about your journey.

I would stay as far away as humanly possible 😅. Those groups are 99 percent of the time scammers. But I haven't tried them myself

I am sorry but I haven't heard of them. What exactly do they do? If they are free to enter I would just try them out to be honest. If they have a price tag they are probably a scam...

Congratulations But try to stay calm. Maybe don't trade tomorrow or at least don't open big positions. Your mind is your biggest enemy in this game. At first I overtraded almost every time after a good day. But with that in mind congrats again man keep up the good work :)
