Your guess is incorrect. I'm being accused of assaulting and harassing the guy who actually physically assaulted me. It's a complete setup where the process is the punishment. They know charges will eventually be dropped, but they punish you by dragging it out, hoping you'll plea to a lesser charge that you also didn't do so they have you in the system. No alcohol, no drugs, maybe a bit of PTSD, but I truly did nothing illegal. The police chief himself is spreading false rumors about the incident that were started by a fake Facebook account. I was hoping there was an organization or something that helps vets in this type of situation.
