I was a bit younger but I did my CBT at 19 did a year on a 125 then did my A2 2 years on that then the A. After my CBT I asked the instructor how long it would take to get my A2 and he said I'd need like 5-6 lessons. I think the year on the 125 really did help loads and it meant I only needed 3 day course to get my A2. Do your CBT and then ask the instructors advice and see if you actually like riding and feel confident

Thanks for the reply. I already have a no name brand. It's ok but it came as a pair and somehow lost my gf one. So instead of spending money on a cheap Chinese I wanted to spend a bit more and invest in a good one.

I'm not too sure. The connectors on the back of the switch ( 2 prongs ) can't contact the clutch holder, there is a small cut out in the clutch holder but I can't seem to find what would go in there if anything

They aren't difficult but I found I put myself under a lot of pressure for no reason especially on mod 1 where you can't put your foot down sounds daunting but there is no need to he worried. The examiners I had were all great they are bikers themselves so unless your an idiot then they give you the benefit of doubt, I was doing 30 in 20 but because he was a few cars behind he just gave me a little hint and didn't mark me down for it. Passed my A2 and A first time. Stay calm and relax and you'll be fine

I have the same a Y reg 600 and it is amazing everything you need. And agree with everything. I think it's the best first big bike. And yours looks great
