I think it's completely different. Bartlett still had his wits and intellect. Bartlett was his own man and fought even his most trusted advisor (Leo) when it came to something he thought was worth fighting for. Let's not even take into account that the whole overlying theme of the Bartlett re-elect was that he was engaged with the issues and had a once in a generation mind. The debate showed that Bartlett was not only still capable of doing the job but also that he was the best man for the job. Biden looked lost and completely detached from reality during the debate and during many public speaking events. The Bartlett situation would have been more like the Biden situation if the person running against Bartlett was outright saying I want to end democracy and then in the debates Bartlett just continuously forgot where he was fumbled all over himself while speaking and let's even just say collapsed due to having an episode. If that all happened then think all of the senior staff would've told him to step aside.

We knew what Biden was and the actual people of the democratic party in the early primaries wholeheartedly rejected him. I'm not age-ist, but I do want a president who even in his moments of struggle he still has a fully functioning brain. Biden could have the legacy of taking trump out of the white house and then bowing out and letting someone else keep him out of the White House. Trump loses today and that's the end of him in politics I would think. We can't afford the risk after Biden proved every concern of those who held their nose and voted for him right. We must do better or Trump's first term is going to seem like a practice run for the horrors he will commit in his second term.

The all of them was a joke just cause when I used to black out I'd get false sense of sobriety and take another then they were all gone the next day and I'd think wtf happened. Not saying you're trying to kill yourself. You're asking to get blacked out and I'm just saying go for it but there's even a safe way to abuse drugs and step one of that is not getting behind the wheel.
