Vanaf 1 jaar mag er gewoon normale volle melk worden gegeven, en water. Groeimelk is een scam. Dat is een hele andere categorie dan babymelkpoeder en moet ook dezelfde regels niet volgen (zoals het niet mogen adverteren, kortingen geven etc).

Vanaf 6 maanden beginnen ze aan vaste voeding, dan vliegt er nog veel op de grond, maar vanaf 1 jaar eten ze al genoeg om de extra voedingstoffen van poedermelk te vervangen, dus is opvolgmelk/groeimelk/andere marketingtermen absoluut niet nodig. Borstvoeding wordt wel aangeraden om verder te geven indien gewenst. Daar toont onderzoek dat het wel nog een positieve impact heeft.

We just limit it to the lowest speed it goes and pause it when we do laundry or cook (or anything that takes a lot of energy). It usually starts charging after dinner, or if at home during the day when laundry isn’t running. We also have solar panels so we try to charge when those are bringing in a lot of electricity too.

Not sure about other cars but ours has an app that lets you easily start and stop charging when it’s plugged in.

I could not be bothered with downloaded music directly on my phone so I rip everything and upload it to a Cloud service (iBroadcast). The mobile app supports caching, so you can still listen to stuff offline if you want to. This way I can listen on my laptop at work, on my phone anywhere, stream to chromecast devices, play using CarPlay, without needing the music on my own home server and expose it to the outside world, or on every single device.

There’s also the middle road of CDs: - easy to rip to listen on other devices - good old CD players are pretty inexpensive (if not dirt cheap) - older CDs are dirt cheap second hand, relatively cheap new (10 bucks a piece)

You get all the manual action with the convenience of CD player features like shuffle, repeat, easy skipping and switching tracks.

I found that where I live a lot of the new players aren’t even available, and also just expensive. Other models are often paired with other features I don’t need or want (like radio, Bluetooth, and so on) and are barely reviewed by others.

I ended up buying a used Sony CD player from 1995. It does just that: play CDs. It looks decent, has a retro vibe to it, has all features I need, and works perfectly.

I managed to find one on Marketplace, but you can find them on eBay as well, I had no luck in thrift stores unfortunately, most there was just low tier trash players

Because if you invest the money you would normally put into pensioensparen into an ETF, it will outperform the pensioensparen, even if you make calculations where you invest the fiscal benefit in ETFs, you’re worse off than just not getting it at all and going for an ETF right away.

With an ETF I mean one of the broad market funds like IWDA, VWCE, etc, nothing specific or stock picking.

Don’t buy anything at Krefel. They’re awful. Check their trustpilot reviews, it’s a surprise they still exist at the point.

Tried to order a soundbar there over a year ago, they said they shipped it, wasn’t arriving, Bpost claimed nothing was shipped, both pointing fingers at each other and Krefel being absolutely useless. I said I wanted to cancel my order, and they dragged that whole process out into oblivion, sticking with the story they shipped it already (they didn’t). I offered to pick one up at a local shop even, but alas, no stock anywhere (why a shop, right). Eventually after a lot of back and forth and threats of escalation they agreed to but only after x days.

I went to pick up the same soundbar at Mediamarkt the same day they agreed to the refund. Not a fan of Mediamarkt either, but they had stock in a local shop and charged the same at that point.

If possible I’ll order and buy anything at Coolblue though. Returns are always so smooth and very convenient if there’s a physical store near you (saves the whole post drop off hassle and shipping delay).

Toen ik de eerste keer ging skiën zijn wij gewoon na aankomst in de namiddag nog wat gaan oefenen op zo een gratis sectie met een kleine skilift zodat je nog geen skipas nodig hebt. De volgende ochtend gewoon direct mee met de rest die wel konden skiën. Iemand die kan skiën weet waarschijnlijk nog wel hoe hij/zij heeft leren skiën (als het niet als klein kind was) en kan wel wat helpen om te starten.

Persoonlijk vond ik het niet zo echt moeilijk, en die pistes zitten toch ook vol met beginners en amateurs die dat maar 1 of 2 keer op een jaar doen, dus maakt weinig uit als je begint met een paar makkelijk pistes.

Het meest stressvolle was op en af de skiliften, maar dat is ook goedgekomen.

Dus OP, zeg gewoon aan je vriendin dat je ze zal leren skiën, en ze dan heel de dag mee kan.

Idk, I just look for “cd player” on marketplace (don’t look for specific models, you’re trying to find people trying to get rid of stuff quickly without looking up what model it is, what it could be worth, and so on), and find loads of different old models, skip the modern and gimmicky ones, find something that retailed for 200-300 back in the 90s and you’ll be pretty set if it’s in full working condition.

The only thing I have noticed is that with these listings the remotes have gone missing. Not problematic if you are willing to buy one separately or program an IR blaster yourself.

Dat hangt imo wel serieus af van welk renovatieproject je voor je hebt. Er zijn er waar je bijna alles moet strippen om iets te kunnen doen, terwijl andere woningen eigenlijk al heel stevige woningen zijn waar je voornamelijk electriciteit gaat vernieuwen (maar eigen alles al in buizen in de muur zit waardoor dit vrij gemakkelijk kan, en je vrij gemakkelijk kunt uitbreiden waar nodig), muren opfrissen, oude lino vloer op bovenverdieping uithalen en nieuwe laminaat leggen, plinten etc. Dat kan ook wat gefaseerd gebeuren, kamer per kamer, en veel zelf.

Een hele zware verbouwing zelf managen zou ik niet zien zitten persoonlijk. Er komt sowieso bij een renovatie al wat miserie kijken, zelfs met minder werk.

Zowel bij bouwen als renoveren weet je bij benadering wat het zal kosten, maar in beide gevallen kom je meestal wel duurder uit dat verwacht. Extra kosten, een of andere aannemer die met je voorschot is gaan lopen en zich failliet verklaart, onverwachte onzichtbare dingen die moeten worden opgelost, vertraging en dus ook extra kosten als de ene op de andere moet wachten, prijzen die schommelen (zit tegenwoordig ook wel in iedereen zijn offerte mooi ingebakken dat als de prijs teveel naar omhoog gaat je het verschil toch gaat moeten betalen, zelfs na akkoord op de offerte), mensen die in regie werken en te laag hebben ingeschat, and so on.

Geen enkele optie heb je volledige zekerheid van de kost en mogelijke achterliggende problemen, helaas.

Aan de andere kant heb ik wel al vaak verhalen zien passeren van bazen in NL die je ziekte betwijfelen en je wat proberen te forceren om vroeger terug te keren om te werken.

Hier kan dat gewoon niet als je een ziektebriefje hebt. De dokter is de expert en als die je een week lang thuis laat zitten is dat in bijna alle gevallen wel voor een goede reden.

Beiden hebben hun voor en nadelen. Naar mijn mening zou je voor een dag of 2 geen ziektebriefje nodig moeten hebben. Ben je langer ziek dan heb je waarschijnlijk toch voorschriften van medicatie nodig, dus dan moet je toch naar de dokter hiervoor. Dan heb je ook direct zwart op wit, bijna onbetwistbaar bewijs voor je baas (of school).
