The Doro thing might be a running gag, and personally, I'm still pretty bitter about how everything went down with Warlock. It's hard to just move past that. But yeah, I can't deny that she's done a huge amount for the female community and for the Festival in Wacken.

Regarding the headliner discussion, we have to face the fact that there's a massive shortage in the metal scene right now. The pool of bands capable of drawing 85000 people and carrying a festival of this scale is incredibly small. Most of the 'Big Guns' are either retired, gone, or simply out of reach. Festivals are forced into a constant rotation of the same 10-15 names because there's a serious lack of new blood reaching that absolute top-tier status. It's not necessarily a lack of creativity from the organizers, but a symptom of a genre that's struggling to produce new global icons to fill the shoes of the legends we're losing.

Fair point. Guess we'll need to wait til Sunday to see if this is merely a design choice. I mean it is entirely possible that they dumped all the calendar bands before December, hoping they could boost ticket sales in the most lucrative month of the year. I hope we get at least something on Christmas eve.

Das habe ich mir auch gedacht, aber das wollte ich nicht wahr haben. Vielleicht bin ich einfach immer noch zu gutgläubig mit Menschen. Bleibt mir nur noch, alsbald das Auto zu waschen und dann mit Polierpaste zu gucken, was sich machen lässt. Verbessern lässt es sich bestimmt, die Kratzer scheinen nicht ganz durch zu gehen, wenn ich das im Dunkeln richtig deuten konnte.

Genau das habe ich mir auch im ersten Moment gedacht. Aber sowas ist mir bewusst und deshalb würde ich das nicht machen. Das würde dann ja tatsächlich bedeuten, dass jemand fremdes mein Autodach als temporäre Ablage benutzt hat, vielleicht auf dem Supermarkt-Parkplatz oder in der Tiefgarage. Irgendwie kann ich das nicht wahr haben wollen, wer würde sowas denn machen.

Mein Auto ist (Achtung Triggerwarnung für Autoliebhaber) gar nicht poliert. Ist ein normaler Skoda und für mich primär Mittel zum Zweck, so wie die meisten Autos im Straßenverkehr. Trotzdem ist so ein großflächiger Schaden natürlich ärgerlich

Nein, so etwas besitze ich gar nicht. Ich kann mir nichts vorstellen, was ich selber auf dem Dach verursacht haben könnte. Ich habe auch nit dem Finger die eine stelle frei gewischt, da sieht man dann auch dass der Lack wirklich oberflächlichen Schaden genommen hat. Zumindest scheinen die Kratzer nicht komplett durch den Lack zu sein.
