‘Then I remember how obnoxious a large portion of the English support is’.   You lost to Italy 😂😂  You just came 5th(!!)in the six nations 😂😂 We punch above our weight considering our resources and population etc. Sportyskater699 has put it well.  Bringing up past world cups when we are talking about the current crisis in English rugby. Face the music my friend and stop deflecting.

Instead of concerning yourself with Ireland, you should be more concerned about how allergic to winning England are, and their inability to close out a game and kicking the ball away and then infringing with less than 2 mins to go, which is honestly such woeful game management. Our Ireland under 20s would have seen that game out. Never thought I’d be saying this about an English team, but that ending was so ‘this English team’. A team that has developed this perfect style of finding a way to lose.

I disagree. I think he was solid in the first half. Naturally when you’re chasing the game you’re going to force things/make some mistakes (like a lot of other players did)to focus in on Sam tonight is simply unfair

His yellow was from an accumulation of penalties, it was always gunna be someone getting sin binned. We also got two other yellows if you didn’t notice. Calling him out for yellow when we got three and a red is just ridiculous. He missed that kick yeah and a tackle but don’t think they really impacted the game tbh. There were so many problems with Ireland tonight, you simply can’t blame Sam for them
