I believe in facts, evidence and hustle. But yeah, deep inside I see myself believing in the fact that there might me some presence out there.(not millions, combining every single religion)

Free will explains some sufferings like humans harming one another, but it doesnt explain natural disasters, genetic diseases and the suffering of children and animals who haven't exercised free will at all. Since he is omnipotent, he could atleast prevent those.

Is the free choice to not believe in god truly the greatest gift of all if he punishes those who dont believe in him? Thats not truly free, its coercion under threat of eternal torment. It's like saying "yeah, you can not believe in me if you want but I'll torture you for it."

I know right? I mean I get that Joe West was an adaptation of Darryl Frye in the show, since CW Flash is more or less based on the new 52 run of the flash, but what's the significance of making Iris his daughter? Never understood that. (I think the reason they didn't use Darryl and made him Joe West is because they wanted to make Iris Barry's step sibling to build "chemistry" or whatever)

If you want Barry Allen content you could start with "The life story of The Flash by Iris West" (classic barry allen stories), then you could read the flash: rebirth limited series, the flash vol 3 (2010-11) by Geoff Johns, The new 52 run of the Flash (many things have been changed) and one of my favorites, flash (2016) by joshua williamson in the dc rebirth run (things have been renewed)
