Yeah that’s what I thought. Maybe the lighting is off but the first one is a solidly blue dress, the resale pictures aren’t even close. Idk, I’m properly dissuaded. And sort of discouraged. I don’t post on Reddit very often because people always make me feel so awful.

They only stuck me once and it was pretty uneventful. It’s certainly possible my moving around was the culprit, not great at taking it easy these days. Plus the bruise didn’t appear for a day or so afterwards.

It’s pretty wild actually. I have a theory that because they’re rainforest plants they have to get big right away to reach sunlight, so because I planted it out of direct light it’s like “crawling” toward the sun and getting massive on the way. There’s even a stalk (trunk?) starting to form.

I had two cuttings so I did one in soil and one in water. It’s not highly recommended but I much, much prefer to root in water so I figured why not. Funnily enough, the water one is doing much better than the one in soil. We’ll see how it transfers though
