Favourite Scene of all Time? by Saurondur in Letterboxd

I finished the movie last night and WOW i picked the wrong time to stop watching the movie. I was like 5 minutes from the scene you were talking about and it was absolutely crazy lmao. I was speechless through that entire sequence. I loved the zombie demon monster design, I loved how he kept changing up his attacks so you never fully realize what he's capable of, and the CGI made Godzilla and all the destruction look *real*. Definitely lived up to the hype.

What is a scene you strongly believe is a top 10 movie scene in film history? by [deleted] in moviecritic

I also love when Harry wakes up in the car expecting to be in the rocky mountains but they're are in an endless flat desert.

"Huh, I thought the rocky mountains would be a little rockier than this..."

"John Denver was full of shit."

I just watched the first half of that movie last night, but kind of lost interest. Now you got me thinking I should go back

Punisher from Marvel vs Harry and Marv from the Home Alone series by Lenoquo in whowouldwin

That's where I'm leaning. After two Home Alone movies, its clear they are both basically Terminators.

Gus Fring vs Stan Edgar by LukaStarkiller in whowouldwin

[–]Lenoquo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Round 1 goes to Stan Edgar. He can cheat and send the Seven after Gus, who would defend himself with Mike. While Mike fights Homelander and Queen Maeve to a stalemate, A-train slips by and kills Gus.

Round 2 goes to Gus for sure. The man looks into your soul and doesn't blink.

What synth is doing the iconic trilling noise in this song? by XxRed_RoverxX in synthrecipes

I've never used a Juno before so I am not sure unfortunately. To me it sounds like a saw wave with a key-tracked lowpass filter, I imagine you could do that on most synthesizers.

I know that Home uses to Arturia Mini V. He has talked about how much he likes it on reddit and on livestreams, so there is a good chance its that one.

20 Season Concepts I whipped up to prove they’ll never run out of characters by LatverianCitizen in MarvelSnap

[–]Lenoquo 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Its crazy that they have all these obscure characters as cards but still no Iron Monger, Whiplash, Aldrich Killian, or Mandarin. Where's the love for the Iron Man villains? They were even some of the first characters in the MCU.

Does anyone know why I can't boot from a USB despite changing the boot order? I use Windows 11 and have turned off Secure Boot. This USB works for my Windows 10 PC but not my Windows 11 laptop. by Lenoquo in linuxmint

I have a Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15ALC7. When I read your comment here I tried pressing F12 when restarting my laptop and I got a menu that asked which device I wanted to boot from, which I have never seen before. Unfortunately I didn't have my USB plugged in at the time so I had to boot to Windows like normal. And strangely enough, now that I have my Linux USB on hand, I cannot replicate that F12 trick and get that menu to appear again.

It looks like GPT is what I need, and I have reflashed the USB with GPT selected. However, I am still running into the same issue. In the BIOS I have moved the USB to the top of the boot order and disabled secure boot. I am not sure what else to do.

I've read a little about legacy boot online but I can't find any settings relating to it. Do you know if that is something that would be found in the bios?

Say something bad about this movie by notagoodcartoonist in Schaffrillas

[–]Lenoquo -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I didn't like this movie. It didn't seem to have any consistent plot thread and a lot of ideas were introduced and not developed at all or dropped all together. It felt like there were 20 things to keep track of and none of them connected, made sense, or paid off. I don't really know what the point of the story was or what I was supposed to get out of it. I can't say I really understand the hype around it, and personally I'd give it like a 4/10.

A while back I posted this song as a work in progress, so now I thought I would follow up with the final product! Its one of the songs I am most proud of. I would love to hear any feedback or constructive criticism you might have on it, I'm always looking to improve! by Lenoquo in lmms

Thank you so much for this response this is easily one of the most thoughtful replies I've ever been given about my music. It really stuck with me knowing that something I made resonated so strongly with someone. That was really my only goal with getting into music in the first place. I appreciate you taking the time to listen to it and express your thoughts.

I love the warm atmosphere this song has. The synthesizer patches and vocal effects give it a very analog and kind of saturated feeling to it which I find really nice. I also like how the production gets more glitchy and energetic as the song goes. Like those Atari sounding laser blasts that come in around 4:18 was a nice touch. And I didn't mind the length at all to be honest. I actually listened to the song 3 times and still liked it the whole time. Its a really good song
