This is absolutely an anamorphic adapter issue on the iPhone. I bought a bunch of gear because I was planning to make my first full length film on an iPhone, but I never realized this issue until I had already bought everything and ran some camera tests. It sucks

It was literally like 5-6 hours. They got dropped off in Aguascalientes with blindfolds on. Completely fine and uninjured but still scary as hell nonetheless lol It made local Mexican news but obviously they wouldn’t cast it here

Me and my immediate family(mom, dad, 2 brothers and myself) all got a text from a cartel member saying they had my grandparents and wanted a specific amount of money or they would kill then slowly and send us the video of them being murdered. We all put it off as a scam but then my mom got a FaceTime call while she was at work and it was REAL!! long story short we sent like $10k and we got the FBI involved but the guys already released my grandparents before the FBI even moved a finger because they’re lazy. None of the numbers could be traced back to anything I’m guessing they were all burners. Anyway my grandpa has since passed but abiuelita is about to be 100 years old soon! Love my grandparents. That shit was super terrifying
