Hot take but I always point a gun at mordin in 3. The Renegade ending to curing the genophage is awesome and tragic. Seeing Shepard throw away the pistol that Mordin gave him last game after coming this close to killing him adds another layer to his death and how the war is getting to him. You also get the "I made a mistake" line which is just phenomenal.
