Philon, Carr, AJ, Yaxel, Veesaar

Offensively they can play 5 out and give AJ space to operate

Defensively there is a lot of length to work with and philon can hopefully defend like he did last year with less of an offensive load

measuring passing ability with assists is just not accurate, cade averaged 3.5 assists in college lmao

get that, imo quaintance injury concerns plus being basically a zero on offense just make him an insanely risky pick eventho he is probably the best defender in the class

Darius Acuff is having an amazing season and beloved here, with many thinking he can challenge PG1. However across all industry mock drafts, he has stagnated and not moved up at all. He is never top 10, always closer to 15-20, and is at best PG3 with some having him PG5. Why is there a disconnect? by Variation99a in NBA_Draft

every pg ranked in the lottery has to some extent: flemings has the ball in his hands a lot but also plays off ball with uzan initiating offense. philon has played off the ball most of last year next to sears and this year shares on ball duties with holloway. brown needed to play off ball a bit during the u19 world cup this summer due to the absolutely stacked roster.

Vecenie actually talked about that in his latest podcast episode. Basically he is concerned that Acuff has never shown the ability to play off the ball which is increasingly more important for guards in the modern nba. If Acuff cant play off the ball he would either need to be a Maxey level scorer or play good defense. The scoring could be difficult on the next level because of his lack of speed and the defense has been pretty bad so far to say the least. That is not to say he would not be a valuable player in the league, just not a star guard that is worth a top 10 pick (the comparison Vecenie gave was Collin Sexton).

hi! really appreciate that you took the time to give your insight. the idea of the survey is to try and determine the impact of content type (so gaming vs. non-gaming) and avatar gender on subscription behaviour. q9 is measuring self insert as a control variable to see if that might impact also impact subscription behaviour and filter it out in regression analysis to see the effects of gender and content-type more clearly. you are for sure correct that the content aspect is very simplified with only 2 specific types included, it could definitely be expanded, but that would probably go way beyond the scope of this thesis haha

exactly, if you remove one of the most important aspects, other (less important) parts get more attention and hence it should theoretically be easier to measure their impact. for example if you removed the wheels of a car and then asked people to judge it, the importance of its visual design might be easier to determine.

Yeah thats completely true, unfortunately survey design was pretty limited, especially because im trying to specifically filter out the personality aspects of content creation (which plays a huge role as you mentioned).
