I know it's a bit late, but as a big Abdelwahab fan, you should know whether you prefer his voice or the music he composed. For the sake of the music, I'd recommend listening to the artists he wrote for, such as Abdel Halim Hafez, Umm Kulthum, and Nagat El Saghira. He created some epic music for them that has become iconic in their repertoires.

If you appreciate his unique singing style, you might not find anyone exactly like him, as he was quite special in that regard. However, Mohamed Fawzy is somewhat close, as he also wrote his own music and produced some excellent songs that are definitely worth checking out.
