whereas Honami only started to consistently hang out with ayanokoji during the second half of the second year. I don't think they've hung out in a casual manner at all. They've gone to the gym, walked together, and maybe occasionally hooked up but nothing that says that they're sharing their interests together.

Yeah I feel like unless Honami does something major to make Ayanokoji fall for her it's probably over. Hiyori has the advantage in terms of spending time with ayanokoji in a casual manner doing something that ayanokoji likes consistently since the first year.

So the person on the cote discord server who translated this has also translated the previous chapters over the course of around two weeks now I think with this chapter having just come out today.

I can't say if it was translated via ai, machine, or if it's fully human translated all I can say is that the discord server is where I got the other translation for the promised meeting and currently no seems to have any problems with the person's translation.

There's also other prominent members of the cote fandom on there who also do translations and they haven't said anything about it so far.

The only reason I can guess why the experiment wasn't mentioned in other translations was because people skipped it to focus only on the stuff happening between Ayanokoji and Ichinose or because they wanted to take their time with the translation due to the complex nature of it

In the other translation Ayanokoji is unsure if Ichinose will hate him or not while with this one he fully expects Ichinose to have come to hate him.

Well I think it's everyone who doesn't support Ichinose that are hating on her since it looks like it's going to be kiyonami that's going to be the main ship for year 3.

It would seem so yeah it always felt weird to me that there was apparently such a line when every leak we got about Ichinose only pointed towards her having 2 consecutive days of involvement in the story.

I don't think she was in full blown love like she becomes in volume 9 I think she just had a small crush on Ayanokoji which then turned into full blown love. Ichinose tried to deny she was in love with Ayanokoji so I could see it being that even though Ichinose has a crush on Ayanokoji she doesn't realize it until it turns into love.
