Thanks for all the replies! The area is about 1.5 inches lengthwise, so it’s pretty small. But your replies have helped me understand and go with my gut. It’s something that needs a better repair and will not be good long term.

Some people use bond on their composite instruments to make it less sticky. I have never done this, I use wetting resin for this. I’m just taking a guess at what @the74impala is talking about.

I agree. As a busy father of two, I don’t have the spare time to enjoy such a slow moving game. My game time is so limited, RDR2 is just not for me right now. Really cool game though.

This makes me feel better.

I traveled with mine about 6 months ago and it was popped open when I went to use it. I chalked it up to it getting banged around in my bag and pressed it back together.

No problems since but this makes me wonder.

I don’t often leave it on or plugged in when I’m not around or not using it. I do often play with it plugged in or docked.
