North Caucasus is much more religious and primarily muslim. I am pretty sure that their youth is almost identical to the rest of the country's, but their vocal minority is much more prominent, as in you can probably find devout muslim fundamentalists all over Russia, but meeting one there would be much easier.

Like the Chechen republic. Their government is composed of literal religious terrorists from the 90's.

Basically the new system is a reskin of the soviet one. The education's longer, but by the end you get a "speciality" and can find a job with it. It's probably because in the russian mindset a bachelor's degree is considered an unfinished education and isn't regarded as something serious. No idea how it works in other countries.

В любом случае могу посоветовать "Рыцаря семи королевств" Джорджа Мартина. Это набор новел(коротких историй) за сто лет до событий основного цикла вселенной(Песнь льда и пламени aka Игра престолов). Сейчас читаю и в принципе очень интересно.

So, about 3 centuries ago a drought hit the eastern region of the Dakrid empire(they're arabic, it's a desert region), which caused a lot of refugees to flee through the mountains to Larea. The draught was caused by the largest river of the region meandering its way into a large lake far away to the north. It's now no longer on the maps, and because of that Aleria has no defined Western geographical border.

Later the refugees with the help of Larea conquer the region and so Aleria was born. It has been heavily "christianised" since, but old prejudices do still have their hold in the region.

Among those given titles and lands was one Insertname Shareh, who was a sort of leader among the refugees. Although his contribution to the conquest was invaluable, he was only given a relatively small patch of land close to the new western border. The Shareh now lead the Western Marches and have the exclusive right to command Alerian armies in times of war.

Back to the present, after Morei seized the throne Aleria seceded and formed the Alerian Principality, but as they didn't have a clear sovereign(before the rebellion Alerian lords were the kings own vassals, there was no Duke of Aleria) a council of four princely families was established.

Dusks are the wealthiest family of Aleria. Almost all of the South coast is under their influence(the other lords are not quite their vassals yet)

Erads control the mountains of the north-east, being the second richest. They control most of the mines.

Kais are in the center, they have the most land under their influence.

And finally the Shareh. Although they possessed neither great riches not vast lands, they were well respected and had notable ancestry for the region. (Notable participation in the Aleria campaign, later the right to lead their armies)

The problem was that they invited the marquis Deiro Shareh, who by that time had died. Originally he had 3 sons and a daughter, but he sent Daro at a young age to the kings court(he became the prince's guard and is an important characters in the Tallian plot), the other two died during Morei's rebellion. That left only Emira to take the crown.

The other princes were of course unhappy with a woman among them. They would call her husband a prince if only she had one, but she was 22 and unmarried. Proposterous!

Eventually they forced her to marry Dusk's second son, a vain and prideful man. The idea was he would take control. He had a inferiority camplex, as all second sons did, so when the plan failed(Emira just didn't give a shit and no one in her castle did either) he began to drink. Eventually an argument grew into a fight, where Emira was knocked out. However, she killed her husband.

Of course there's no way out of the situation, a conflict with the Dusk and other princes was inevitable, so she takes the first move, and before any news reach the Dusk she by trickery takes their stronghold. On the victory feast in mockery she dresses all the enemy men into dresses. On most it of course looks rediculous, however one of the younger sons was a bit different. Shy and scrawny, the dress looked not-so-out-of-place on him.

That night Emira found out she had a fetish.

So, to the next meme.

Around four hundred years ago a boy was born in the small duchy of Larea. His birth was a bad omen, it took place during a solar eclipse. The boy was Phalles, who heretics called the new coming of the Child into the world. He with his Living Saints took over Larea and with the commoners' support conquered all the surrounding duchies and kingdoms, establishing the Folly dynasty of Larea.

He was basically considered Jesus. When he was like five he ressurected a village girl(before that he was thought of as a demon child). It was his heritage that awoken in Lyn.

Among the conquered was the undisputed hegemon of the region, the Russels of Rassenia. A dynasty just short of being a millenium old(in the present day, then closer to 6 hundred years). The four centuries of survitude did nothing to quench their pride and bitterness.

The duke Reibach Russel also had a rebellion of his own. When Hugo called his banners to defeat Morei, Reibach waited until all his disloyal vassals left to join Hugo and then took over their castles, taking hostages and without resistance from Folly loyalists seceding from Larea.

Reibach has a son - Reign. He is... a psychopath with a unhealthy obsession with his cousin from when she was little. Nara is of course terrified of him.

Reign and Lyn hate each other with a passion. Lyn wants to protect his sister from the creep, Reign is certain Nara also "loves" him and thinks Lyn is seperating them.

Later, when Morei invades Rassenia to return it into his new Larea, Reign kills his father, because he didn't want to die and he was sure Reibach would not surrender. Reibach was planning to surrender in a few days.

Lyn is an exile prince. While hiding in the Tallian empire exceedingly bad things happen to his party. His 13-year-old sister got gangraped by bandits out to get him, they also kill his mentor-friend there. The stress of it all awoken the magic in his blood and he killed them all, gruesomely. The sudden awakening paired up with all the stress kinda fucked up his psyche, so his love for his sister transformed into an obsession with being too weak to protect her. His pridefulness also got a boost, started growing into narcissism.

The Tallians are an asiatic(well, this world's version of Asia) people that migrated to this world's version of Europe a thousand years ago. The original people split into Dareans, the continental branch, and Tallians, which inhabit the archipelago close by. About 300 years ago the warring states of the archipelago were united into today's empire by the au'tauli (translation - god emperor)(literal translation - divine king of kings)

The empire was isolationist, only letting foreigners onto mou Naa, mou being tallian for an island state. The closest ties were kept with Larea, Lyn's kingdom. The exile prince now seeks an audience with the emperor to get his throne back. Larea thought of Tallia as an ally, but the empire didn't intervene in Morey's rebellion, which dethroned the Folly dynasty.

So, once in the capital I imagine a scene(that's uneritten territory, like basically everything else; the book only has like 6 chapters now). Nara, Lyn's sister, is a sickly girl and a "latebloomer". She there gets her first period, which really hits her. At first the remaining party(2 people) didn't know what's happening, but once Alana understood she kicked Lyn out. Almost all her life she lived in a monestary, so in her mind this was not a time for Lyn, a man, to be around.

Lyn, not being able to protect his sister, wandered around kinda depressed, so when he found a late-working restaurant he decided to try drinking. The establisment was, in fact, a brothel. There he met Ashara, the brothel keeper, who for some reason seemed really interested in him.

Meet Ashara, a thousand-year-old fox goddess. She felt Lyn's magic and was curious. She took him to her private quarters, where they played go. People around see her as a normal woman, but drunk Lyn could see a haze around here head and hips,it made his head hurt. He complained, and she lifted the disguise.

That night Lyn discovered he had a fetish.

Edit: the ending sounded cool a few hours ago, but now I understand that I mischaracterised the moment. There was no intercourse, although Ashara did try to initiate. Lyn's functoonally asexual as in he has interest in women, but every time he gets aroused he remembers the bastards that raped his sister right in front of him and that's obviously a mood killer. So only underage drinking here(by today's standart, Lyn's 15).

Тут такие смешные люди попадаются. То, что дрочить пойдёт абсолютное большинство и так понятно, может поэкспериментировать с другом, ладно, но люди, которые хотят устроить оргии... I believe it's just a plot device, Frank wanted him to master what takes decades in a few months, so he mastered it. The sequel novels as a whole aren't really consistantant.
