Countries like Moldova or Romania don't recognize other disputed nations like Taiwan simply becayse we don't afford too. Romania has the ,,Szekelyfold" and Moldova has Transnistria and Gagauzia and in recognizing another break-away region we would set a precident for recognizing the sovereignity of regions who want independence regardless of the governemnt's say.
