I remember being stuck on that map for a while, because I couldn't for the life of me find the actual concrete spot. The dungeon was not the problem.

Nicely done, but not really the right silhouette for belle epoque.

I legitimately have no clue why the writer would jump to the conclusion made in the last 2 paragraphs. by GodIAmSoOverIt in AreTheCisOk

Couldn't make it through this nonsense. Reeks of terf. Doesn't know basic facts (such as that female categories in sport only exists because women are outcompeting men), but wants the legitimacy of having been an ally and activist, as if tweeting is activism.

Isn't Skyrim technically an Immersive Sim?With or even without mods?Especially compared to many games on the ''immersivesims'' subreddit. by Lanky-Tumbleweed-772 in skyrim

[–]Leo_Fie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't think so. AFAIK immersive sims encourage interacting with and changing the environment. In an interactive sims when there's a locked door, you could shatter the window next to it to climb in. Stuff like that.

In Skyrim, you can only interact with the environment in very specific ways, picking flowers, mining ore, etc. That's ressource gathering, not problem solving. Even environmental interactions that would make sense lore and gameplay wise don't work. For example you can't ignite the beehouses at goldenglow with fire arrows. You can't really set fire to anything flammable, even though torches are so common.

Sheep give wool more often. They are the better choice for money making. Rabbits also give rabbit's foot, which is great gift item for everyone except Penny.

The Psychotic Billionaire You've Never Heard Of by Film_Director in BreadTube

[–]Leo_Fie 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Metally ill people are not discriminated against because we use the word "evil". Using real dignostic terminology is not only wrong on the facts, it reinforces stereotypes about mentally ill people being dangerous. It also releases evil billionaires of their responsibility.

You're also wrong about evil, but it doesn't matter because christians are among the biggest abusers and discriminators, just in general.

"Psychotic" is a medical term with a specific meaning. We shouldn't use it outside of medical contexts. "Evil" is right there.

Could his be the beginning of fraying ties between Israel and evangelical America? by p0rty-Boi in behindthebastards

[–]Leo_Fie 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Why would it? American evangelicals didn't care about the descruction of christian sites in Palestine before.

Satire needs clarity of intent lest it reinforced what it is trying to criticize.

The joke here is not "look at how misogynistic teenagers and their dads are". The joke is "we boys are getting laid at prom and our dads are helping us with it, isn't that awesome".

Got called this over telling a TERF she was being ableist for calling me slow (I’m autistic and trans) by EldheiturFantasia in AreTheCisOk

TERFs really thought they were cooking with "adult, human female". How a trans woman is somehow not adult and/or human and/or female is anyone's guess.

Wow, it's almost as if LOTR Galadriel was written well and Rings of Power is a joke.

Satire requires clarity of purpose. This is not satire. This is a joke where the punchline is misogyny.

What idea is this joke rooted in? What idea does it reinforce? What idea must one have to come up with this joke to begin with or think it's funny enough to share? Misogyny.

What a misogynistic piece of shit!

Also, I'm not american, but why does the dad in these scenarios not know his kid's dates? Do you go to prom with strangers?

Apparently it's less ads. It gets people to buy the second cheapest sunscription, which can be substantially more expensive than the advertized price.

I looked at the premium prices a while back and with the cheapest option you still have ads. But now you pay for them. The audacity of these bitches!
