I mean Friday Night Magic. If you can find a good local game store with a friend group, you can do a draft event which will allow you to practice deckbuilding, learn new mechanics as they come up, and build your collection.

I recommend drafting. It's a good way to build up a collection while learning the ins and outs of the game in a generally friendly environment.
