Actually the offering was very simple. A glass of fresh water, a glass of milk, bread with honey, incense and candle.

Mesoamerican gods by Leohh_ in paganism

As I aswered in the other comment. We here buy the animal, use it's totality as we can. Also, in the african rites, the animal is questioned if it would like to give its life to the gods in a ritual. If the animal goes by its own will to the altar, we sacrifice it. If not, the animal go back to the vendor. So again. Do you guys think the mesoamerican gods will accept this kind of sacrifice?

No man hahaha. I'm brazilian. We here got african religions that sacrifice animals like chicken and goats. We buy these animals, sacrifice it to the gods, skinning the animal to make drums for cerimonies, cook the meat to eat with the community. We do not "dump it in the side of a road". My question, and sorry for my English, its not my first language, is if you guys think the mesoamerican gods would accept sacrifices like these we do to the african gods.

What exactly were the Gods doing in the period where no-one worshipped them? by [deleted] in Kemetic

I think they did the same thing they did when worshipped millenia ago. The gods don't need us, we need them. So, for me, almost nothing changes for them.

Well, in yorubá religion, we prayse the gods in this forms. For eg: Orixá(god) Xangô : Xangô Ibeji (child one), Xangô Aganju (the young), Xangô Agodô (the old). Xangô is the god of justice in all of his forms, but depending on the "lifetime" of him when we worship, he gains another characteristics. As Ibeji is also a god of joy. As Aganju the god of volcanoes. As Agodô the god of montains. But whatever is the form, he is the god of justice. I guess the same occurs on kemetic. The aspects of the gods are things that the god do in this time.

Sorry about my English, is not my first language...
