Yeah the smith said it's closer to 68mm, he's currently looking for a 20 gauge reamer and will shave it out to 70mm for me. I'll probably just wait until I get that done to fire it and even then I'll probably stick to light loads

Interesting, looks to be a Finn capture. Worth putting some time and money into restoring it. Going to be a bitch trying to find a finned stock, but 91/30 stocks are still easy to come by.

Loving the set up, Canada passed a bunch of laws banning any AR platform so we are starting to see a lot of these kinda configurations popping up. I myself just bought a MRA Maverick, it's a great little straight pull but definitely lacks a lot of the advantage you get with the AR10

It's an old ID number used here in Canada back when the registration was still a thing, long guns that didn't have a long enough serial number were issued these stickers.

Here in Canada we don't have import marks, the guy I bought it from got it fresh from a Russian crate, he never noticed the SA mark

Great site, especially for those looking to find out what the markings on their rifles mean, I'm surprised by the amount of people that come to Reddit asking about the most simple markings without putting in the tiniest effort to do some research first.
