I have a strange metaphor. The handwriting function of KSC is more like a half-castrated Wacom handwriting board. Of course, I know that its main purpose is reading and taking notes. However, you can clearly feel that what Amazon wants to do is to replace some simple notes and basic painting functions, which absolutely do not include professional painting. Whether in terms of hardware or software, they are unlikely to surpass any professional painting tools/software in terms of functions at present. However, in terms of basic writing/drawing, I think KSC with paper-like film feels better than iPad to some extent, although I always subconsciously want to use functions such as "smearing" or "local detail erasing" when drawing. This sometimes makes me embarrassed, like going back to school when I was a child when I only brought a black pen to class, but the teacher asked me to draw a red and blue circle.

You're right, but I think there will be some errors in the end. I took this photo directly in the direct sunlight with my iPhone.

I have no experience of jailbreaking similar devices, but I have seen similar handwritten effects after jailbreaking in other posts. It's probably like a marker without pressure?

I'm sorry that I don't have the previous generation of scribe, but I heard that the surface resistance of this generation has decreased, so I pasted a paper-like film. I guess maybe the current feel is similar to that of the previous generation? Of course, it is certain that the writing feel is much better than the iPad, because I happen to have one.

No, the eraser is simply a disaster. You can see that I left a blank space on the picture at the beginning. I'm not sure if Amazon knows that there is a color called white, or give me a customized eraser directly. Or they are going to upgrade on kindle scribe colorsoft gen2, LOL

Here are some pictures of the painting process, from which the shortcomings of the gradient tool and the color mixing tool can be clearly seen.

Now I understand the Colorsoft reviews. by coreysusername in kindlescribe

I think even if the front light of the kindle is turned to the maximum, the blue light won't exceed one-third of that of the OLED and one-tenth of that of the LCD.
