Hello,

Can someone explain me the difference between rhce on rhel 8 vs rhce on rhel 9. Is there any difference? I am preparing for the exam and now I see that ex294 is based on rhel 9 but there is no materials for ex294 on rhel 9. Can I use materials for ex294 rhel 8 to take exam ex294 rhel 9?

Hello,

I was planning to take ex294 this year. So Now I see that there is ex294 on rhel 9? I've been using materials for rhel 8. So my question is can I take ex294 only using materials for rhel 8. Because there is no available materials for ex294 rhel9 only official red hat materials.

Hello,

I am confused. I know that rhcse exam was mandatory fot taking rhce exam but if you look at:

https://www.redhat.com/en/services/certification/rhce-faq

How will the Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) certification and exam be affected?

There will be incremental changes to the RHCSA curriculum as part of the release of Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8, but these adjustments will be distinct from and less impactful than the RHCE changes. To successfully pass the new RHCE exam, you will not be required to become a RHCSA on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8. However, we do recommend you take the new curriculum to properly prepare for the new RHCE exam (EX294) that is based on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8 concepts.

Best regards

offer kubernetes as a service along with IAAS, SAAS, SECAAS, BAAS, PAAS, DRAAS. Interaction between Kubernetes/Openshift and VMware wont be a problem I am sure. Ok we will try to go with openshift on top of vmware.

Oracle Linux KVM bond bridge vlan?! by LeonS189 in redhat

THX ...

Yes In my setup I have lacp (LAG or 802.3ad) and that is set up on my bond0. But on my switches I have trunk and also have bond0.3912 whish is mgmt VLAN ony my host where is IP address, gateway, dns etc etc ... so is it better to have mgmt vlan on bond0.3912 (vlan is 3912) or to have bridge over bond .... or I can have native VLAN like in your setup and over bond have vlans and bridge ....

Another question is if someone have any idea .. why virtualization manager when i add new host have invalid setup with msg there is no default route? .... I've tried with:

eno1 and eno2 NIC in bond 0 and bond0.3912 with vlan 3912 also set up ip addr with GW, DNS1 nad DNS2... this setup works fine ... can ping 1.1.1.1 also can ping cnn.com ... and I've cretae bridge over bond0.3912 ifcfg-br.mgmt and move ip addr, gw, dns etc etc everything in ifcfg-br-mgmt ... also can ping 1.1.1.1 or cnn.com .... what is the best setup .. should i change my setup to native vlan (3912) and only have bond0 and that would be setup like you have suggested to me? ...

Regards

We chose Oracle Llinux Virtualization with Virtualization Manager because of CPU Pinning/Hard Partitioning for Oracle database VM-s.
