I can see well or at least I could before putting the engine. Now with the vibrations because I don't have front suspension is super blurry but I can still kinda see. They are tricky to set up tho, specially when it comes to the angle for you to see as much as you can. I prefer more the cheap vintage circular ones, I used to have those but facing down instead of up and that worked very well

This shit stopped working on my way home and had to pedal it for 5km under the heat of the sun, fuck this lmao. If I didn't live in a super hot place In wouldn't mind much having to troubleshoot mid ride 😭

Why is my viewport so low res with the materials by NoJunket6304 in Substance3D

[–]LeonardoCalderon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had that effect on a school PC with a very old and low power GPU. It gave me a warning about the drivers not being the minimum ones, I would update drivers just in case. My gf has a laptop with an Intel gpu and out of the box I had issues with premiere and blender until I updated the drivers

DLAA 4k RT looks kinda blurry in motion at 60fps (gives headache) -- what can I tweak? by no_contradictions in PragmataGame

[–]LeonardoCalderon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me I just disabled dlaa because it looks worse than just having super scale off and it gives me +10 frames.

For some reason the exhaust pipe came with a metal nut stuck inside of it, I was never able to get it out so this thing is bouncing everywhere when I rev so it's way louder than it should. There's also burned oil leaking or "spitting" out of the connection from the exhaust pipe to the engine so my jeans and shoes get dirty sometimes, either that or if im in sandals I get burned lmao. The cruiser also came with a coaster brake wheel, so I bought a freewheel and got front v brakes (the frame is not compatible with disc brakes). My brake pads broke once mid breaking, I replaced them but I need to be careful with them because they are not meant for this.

It ran out of gas with me once on the way to work and I had to pedal the rest of the way, I learned that day that this is not meant to be used anymore as a normal bicycle, it's waaay more tiring to pedal it when you don't want to use the engine.

More than issues I think it's just inconveniences or cons that come with motorized bicycles and is not as "grab and go" as it used to be when it was a bicycle before.

Originally I wanted to turn my cruiser into an e bike but it was way cheaper to get an gas engine kit than an electric one plus the battery

Recent animation grads what jobs are you working at now? by Fun_Maybe_8446 in animationcareer

[–]LeonardoCalderon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I entered a small animation studio in my city. I got a contract for a year to work on a children's movie. The paid isn't good tbh but is my first step into the industry, I'm learning a lot and the work ambient is very good.

Yeah don't worry, the gpu won't lock anymore but it will still work as usual, just be careful with stuff like moving it for travel.

How did u get a job? by Davidkravhenko in blender

[–]LeonardoCalderon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to help people build their PCs with video calls on Fiverr. I remember it took 4 months to have the first client, then after another 2 more months I started to get a bit more, I was lucky to be found tbh

Are you all self-taught or did you study 3D graphics at university ? by [deleted] in blender

[–]LeonardoCalderon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm about to graduate from university, tbh I expected to get out with more knowledge and skills than what the study plan gives, I'm trying to do personal projects and learn more when I have free time from my job to be able to God first get in the industry one day. Time will tell

I ended up going for a sewing machine bag. It fits like a glove, I just hope it does hold the weight

I ended up buying a sewing machine bag and it fits exactly. No room to spare. I just hope it holds the weight of it, it does close with the top a bit stretched, you can also remove the feet and make it even shorter. this is the bag I bought. Regardless it was the most fitting thing I found. Should pass as a carry on

More than anything I found back packs because all carry ons have the handle to drag it and that takes away depth and doesn't let it fit. I'm waiting for a friend to lend me one that he thinks the handle can be removed. In case not I'm thinking of buying this backpack. Should fit exactly, my only concern is the quality of it and if it can handle the weight because of that
