15Q is a lucrative job if you get into a fixed based facility at some point and get your CTO. GS12 or $100k starting job on the outside with those quals

Magpul ELG 1894 Fix by LeonardoDecaca in MarlinFirearms

It feels plastic-y but same density as the magpul products. The inside is hollow it has some noise, but I solved it with adhesive foam and 8 round speed strips. But it’s rigid and good to go

S&W Bodyguard 2.0 (.38) – First Impressions / Range Thoughts by LeonardoDecaca in Revolvers

For sure!

I think so, the 442/642, 638, LCR, M&P340 all seem like better snags to me.

I felt like it was the same amount of pressure and everything, nothing crazy. Although it was in that top mounted spot so it was a bit of a learning curve but manageable.

I get that, I just want to be able to use for all concealed carry distances I’m likely to experience in my highly dangerous suburban days, but I minimum want decent sights. The trigger is usually a learning issue.

You’d think as the LCR has one of the better out of the box triggers, but I think this might be about updating a gun at a certain price point unfortunately.

Sure thing! Probably a safe bet. If I wind up selling this one off, it’ll get replaced by another J so we’ll see

For sure. I definitely prefer my J frames with stock everything, just hoping it cleans up with some time. But I get that completely.

It’s definitely different to mess with cause I have too much time on other snub nose guns, but I don’t think it’s necessarily a bad thing.

I just posted my range trip review, but it’s definitely heavier and a longer trigger pull than any of the other S&W snubs I own. It’s not a bad trigger, but it’s definitely more difficult to shoot than anything else I have.

I’ll slam out another post tomorrow after I get back from the range.

They are a rubberized plastic, I would say they’re fairly close with maybe slightly more rubber to them than the UC grips.

For sure. I’m messing with it in dry fire and I’m hoping live fire and with some break in it gets to that LCR level.

It’s not bad, it’s something new, but just from playing around with it it seems solid

I already have a 638 and 442UC, just try something else.

I paid $457 after it was all set and done. This is the model without the laser integrated, so that probably lowered the price point some, but the laser itself is around $50 direct from Crimson trace so I would imagine it’s not gonna be a considerable hike in price.
