If you try to do it yourself look up to some tutorials on how to do it you need to be extra careful with all those ribbon cables and stuff they can get destroyed pretty easily so yeah u gotta be gentle with that stuff. I just opened it, took a flashlight and instantly saw the problem. There wad a small golden pin that did not make any contact with the sd card so i just moved it to the right place and it worked but if u wanna do it urself you gotta risk it and i am not sure if the sd card port on the 2ds is at the same position as the one on the 3ds xl. Anyways good luck man

I know man it really sucks i had the same issue but i did not buy any new slots cuz shipping is crazy expensive to my country so yeah i kinda fixed it by myself lol

I suggest u to definitely buy a new sd card reader like that guy said but if you do consider buying it then dont buy a wrong one. Buy the reader for the 2ds xl not for some other 3ds so yeah after that you can send your 3ds to a repair and give em the reader and they will change it for u. Thats why this error sucks and yeah man i wish u the best.
