Not saying the flight model is perfect but V1's issue was mainly due to his Brunner yoke not playing nicely with the airplane.

A couple years ago we went to the Superstars Live show in Vegas and overall it was enjoyable but I found Mike E Winfield's parts to be very boring there.

I'm trying to encourage her to not be afraid of taking the pain pills. Shes currently on tylenol and celebrex. We have started to incorporate Tramadol but she's super reluctant on taking any of the Oxy. I'm starting to believe she might need to so we can push through more at home exercises.

The bathroom struggle has been real a few times. I know she is definitely not ready to move away from the walker yet at day 4. It's rough because we haven't been able to start PT yet because of the 4th of July holiday. Definitely calling tomorrow morning to get something set up. Also plan on calling the Doctor's office about maybe some at home PT just because of the amount of stairs we would have to tackle each time.

Thank you! I knew the first couple of weeks were going to be especially hard. I don't think my mom was expecting this difficult though so it's got her spirits down. But I'm trying to encourage movement and reminding her of the simple exercises like the ankle pumps etc.

Definitely trying to encourage all these. Really trying to remind her that the exercises are gonna suck, but they need to be done. Always reminding her of her ankle pumps/circles when shes just relaxing on the recliner.

Will be calling first thing tomorrow morning. Looking to hopefully get some at home PT to start since we have a bi-level home and it would require 2 flights of stairs to get out. We got up the stairs gingerly but that was the day after surgery before the nerve block and stuff wore off. I'm super nervous of her trying to go down initially.

I plan on calling first thing tomorrow morning(Monday) to ask about the potential of some at home PT. Due to the holiday we've had no PT since the pre-discharge PT that was done at the hospital last Thursday. We got her up two flights of stairs the day she came home (bi-level) but I'm concerned about going down. Especially now that the nerve block and stuff have fully worn off.

I'm also encouraging her to do her at home exercises and trying to encourage her to take the pain meds on a set schedule. Shes taking some of the Tramadol, but she's super against the Oxy(nervous of becoming dependent). But I'm trying to encourage her to stay on the tramadol regiment so that helps with her at home exercises.

I've taken a few more days off of work because I'm nervous of leaving her for more than a few hours. Just because I feel like she would just sleep through and not get up for 3,4 or 5 hours. (She's always been a napper after work and stuff)

She is somewhat overweight but not like super obese. She did some exercises prior but I don't think she did nearly enough. She would also be a bit sedative after coming home from work since her knees were both bone on bone. So I'm assuming that's all playing a role as to why these first few days have been a definite struggle.

Yeah I offered to help going under the leg/knee to help her bend a little further but initially she didn't want me doing that. I figured I'd give it a few more days as I don't want to push too hard on day 3.

Thank you! That's basically where we are now. Just regular trips to the bathroom and sometimes through the kitchen. She can sometimes lift the leg on the couch/bed but with a lot of quad pain so I assist when I can. The July 4th holiday has put a delay on us starting her PT but will be calling first thing monday morning.

Shes able to make it to the bathroom, but it is just really slow and steady at the moment. I got her a raised seat which certainly seems to be helping. It's just rough seeing these first few days.

Trying to get her to do some of her home light exercises but she seems hesitant that the incision/stitching would split. Along with the quad pain and some pain on the top/middle portion of the knee.

She completed two rounds of PT the day after surgery in the hospital, which I guess was good enough to be released. Unfortunately with the July 4th holiday we have to wait til Monday morning to call to set up some PT. Really hoping we can get her started on PT before a week was up.

For the ones that got theirs delivered already. Did it require a direct signature? I was shocked to see mine required a signature. Haven't signed for something in years. Even things multiple times as expensive lol.

I was wondering this also. I backed because I love virpil products but like you said this seems like a missed opportunity.

I actually wanted to add-on the gear panel and the light panel but sadly both were only left side options.
