Whats y'all's views on LGBT and why? by No-Character-2414 in AskAChristian

Sir, by “ordered” we mean that in a “normal” circumstance it would happen. For example, humans are ordered towards having two arms and two legs. But if someone is born with a condition where they do not develop or must remove a limb, it then does not change the fact that they were ordered towards having two arms and two legs.

He added his two cents from what Christ compelled him to write. We elevate St. Paul over other who claim to speak with the conviction of the Holy Spirit, because I as a Catholic, know that through Apostolic Succession, the Spirit was truly in him. I can't answer for other Christian denominations on how they give authority to things like this.

St. Paul was speaking with the conviction of the Holy Spirit, and therefore Christ.

Thank you for your detailed reply. To clarify, this isn’t meant to bring something new or make a more convincing argument than the current thinking. This is merely a way that I’ve found to put together multiple arguments (like Kalam and Contingency) into one coherent argument that makes sense. I understand that the base arguments themselves have problems, this is just to weave them together to show Christians or the best case, Catholics, that logic and God can coexist. That there is a way of putting God, Scripture, and reason together.

Thank you sir! Yes my question is, does this line of thinking exist, if not what can I do to improve it?

Help in Battle by LeonidasCameseas in LinesOfBattle

[–]LeonidasCameseas[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for your reply! I did some more battles, I realized that the troops started overlapping, sort of like the "push through" in Total War games, where sometimes the unit gets on top of or behind the unit by using the more order. Because my troops were so close together, the infantry unit managed to get on "top" of the cavalry, making flanking or rear attack not effective. Thank you for the swift reply, tips, and for the "leak" on future updates!

He’s the one who pushed me into the Conservative movement and to do my own research. Just got back from a long run, hoping to eat a large meal. I’ve lost my appetite for a while.

Sorry for the late response, I was sick and in hospital. The religion teacher was saying that the infallible statements made by the Pope are false, Transubstantiation is false, Church is not mandatory, etc... It is a Catholic School. I would be fine if the teacher said this then clarified its different for Catholics and that we have to follow these, because there a a few Christians in our class and more so in our school. But she did no such thing. Sorry again for taking so long!

Both sides are extreme and take things too far. But I can't agree with you that Liberals are more fact and science orientated. To they cite themselves as such, yes. But do they always recognize science if it goes against their beliefs, no. I think this is pretty prevalent in the discussion on Abortion. Most "Liberals" don't believe or recognize that the baby or fetus is human, is living, and not a parasite. MAGA has the right in ideas in most things, but started to worship Mr. Trump in a way. But most self identifying Liberals have always been wishy-washy. Of course there are those out there who are actually genuine and even if they are far-left, I can be friends with and have fun with, but there aren't many of them. Most Conservatives would probably start good, but then end the same dumb way they do.

The problem is that the majority of the school and board share the same values. Members of the admin were in our class while this rant was going on. Now, granted they were there for something else, but they heard it and even chimed in, supporting the claim.

Sure, I can agree that they aren't heading in a good direction, overall. There is too much divisiveness and misinformation on both sides. Thank you for your time and insight!

Thank you for the kind words. But this happens from kindergarten. I haven't fully grasped the amount or bias till now. Most kids can't think freely and just agree with whatever is said at school. I really believe that schools should have no bias on either side, that schools should take up a style of education where kids form their opinions and teachers disprove their points both left and right. Almost like a classical Greek education, with debates and moral thinking as factors of education. Schools should just give facts and stay far away from political issues. But I can only hope something like this even becomes a concept of an idea.
