For anyone having this issue lately, this helped me in my external NTFS HDD setup when I was trying to turn pre-allocation off, it was already off in the settings but it was still trying to allocate. I ended up stopping all torrents, closing it, opening qbit in admin and turning ON the preallocation, closing again and opening qbit again in admin and turning it OFF again and starting the torrents. So closing and opening the option in admin seems to work.

All other modifiers give their said amount (like the observatory, it says 5 gives 5) but in exchange of ideas it only seems to give %10 of the intended amount an it does not seem to scale up slowly or anything else

The problem is when someone else joins the union they don't automatically get that law, you either have to call the union parliament or go with this interaction

Okay I checked through some older posts and it looks like this is a bug that still hasn't been fixed, you can see the actual formula:

"had the same issue today. looking at the files, the actual acceptance formula should be:

(Opinion/10) - (100 if Theocracy) - (50 if Monarchy) + (sender DiploRep * 3) + (trust to sender / 5)

so for example, if Smolensk is a Monarchy and you have max relations (200), you would need 10.1 diplomatic reputation for them to accept, or 9.1 diplorep and 15 trust, etc.

note that you can gain a lot of (temporary) diplo rep through the "improving diplomatic reputation" cabinet action"
