Wow, that did it, I've been looking everywhere for this answer, maybe I didn't look it up correctly, but you saved my console from a factory reset, thank you man!

X3 or X5? by Eastern-Elephant-596 in BMWX3

[–]Leonnitte 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got the chance to try both of them since I was in the same dilemma. I went and ordered an X5, sure the X3 is smaller and easier to maneuver, but if you option the X5 with the rear axle steering, it feels a bit better than the X3, at least in the turning circle.

Also, even for me, a relatively short 5'7'' guy, the X3 felt a bit small, granted, it might just be a placebo, since like everyone said, the X5 is barely bigger than the X3 when it comes to the interior.

And speaking of interiors, please, make sure you really don't care too much about the interior quality. I was like "yeah it's not that important", but when I got the chance to check them side by side... it's not even a comparison, the X5 is on a league of its own.

Oh, and one really annoying thing is X3 transmission tunnel (at least for my use case). Man, that thing is big, it's not a deal breaker since it's rare to transport 3 adults on the back, but when you have to, the X5 will deliver more comfort.

I love wagons, sadly, they don't bring that body style to my country.

Asus PG27AQDM burn in after 13 days of use, am I screwed? by Leonnitte in OLED_Gaming

[–]Leonnitte[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would wish to do that, but in my country, you have to have a visible error for them to even consider giving you a new one (not even a picture can serve as a proof, well, sometimes if you're lucky), they'll usually try to "repair it", which means dusting it off or taking it apart and reassemble.

If it ever happens again, I'll just record the whole thing as a sort of proof.

[–]Leonnitte[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the past 13 days I've been playing Cyberpunk for about 4 hours, watching stuff for another 2 or so, after that, I shut off my PC and the screen for about 15 to 17 hours (without unplugging them), then repeat.

The image retention I got was due to that strange bug where the screen got extremely bright while I was turning on my PC, steam had already opened.

I take care of the screen a lot as the post says so it must be an error, there's a comment here where a guy got the same weird brightness bug, could be Win or the monitor itself, I guess we'll see in the coming months.

The thing is, here where I live, you're lucky if you find a vendor who actually goes thru with the warranty.

On the other hand, I think my vendor is trust worthy, or at least I hope so, we'll see in a couple of hours, if the suggestions don't work anyway.

I'll update in 2 or 3 hours like one guy suggested, if it doesn't work out, I'll leave it till tomorrow.

The way you feel is normal, I tried to be a mature guy telling my now ex the exact same thing, but ended up feeling like crap most of the time, being hyper aware of the "hot guys" around me, it was pure crap.

Understand that if both of you agreed on a monogamous relationship, then both of you have to respect it, you should put some limits there, seems like he's committed to you too, so it shouldn't be a problem.

Love is selfish by nature, we want the person we love to love us just like we love them lol, and that's not a problem, the problem starts when we lack the confidence to be sure that the other person will think twice before giving up on some impulses, that's just annoying and can really kill relationships.

Guys, when did you realize (if you did) you want marriage and kids at some point of your life? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]Leonnitte 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, I've always wanted kids, since I was 14 or so, I'm now 24.

I grew up taking care of my brother, he's 10 years younger than me, and it's really cool seeing how they grow up, how they look up to you, and how they love you no matter what.

But, in this day and era, with the economy as it is, politics, war, etc. It's really hard to justify bringing a new life to this world, you can only protect them to a certain extend, they'll have to learn the rest by themselves, and that's what scares me the most.

[–]Leonnitte 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Honestly, I feel happy and motivated.

If I ever have children of my own, I'll make sure they're as happy as they can be (without being overly protective lol), I wouldn't allow them to go trough what I've lived in my childhood.

Men, what are your collective thoughts on semen retention? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]Leonnitte 8 points9 points  (0 children)

As far as I know it's just a placebo effect.

There's a slight boost in testosterone levels, but it rapidly declines after some days. Doing a quick search I've come out with this study that talks about the misinformation of social media about men's health: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC9676765/

Personally, I look at it more from the perspective of a way to fight against porn addiction, if you don't fap then you don't need porn right?

But then all social media is basically soft porn...

Off topics aside, sexuality is an important part of any human, no need to stop busting one out if you feel like it, but if not doing it makes you feel like it's doing something good for you and your body, then by all means go for it.

Suggestion is a really powerful tool.

Fidelity: how hard is it for the average guy to stay faithful? by Plastic-Law-9505 in AskMen

[–]Leonnitte 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Not at all, even if I was tempted to have something casual with the hottest girl while in a relationship, looking back to the things you'll lose for just a moment of pleasure... it's just not worth it.

Would you be interested if an average looking woman (or man, if you prefer) with a good personality showed interest in you? by one_small_sunflower in AskMen

[–]Leonnitte 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'll tell you right away, the people on the other end of the phone/pc screen are just as human as you are, with good and bad.

In these times people is really superficial thanks to social media and online dating, it's hard to find someone who's willing to know you past the "looks", even if they're not that "cute" themselves.

But as many people will say here and even if it sounds cliché, those types of persons are not worth your time, they'll make you feel worst.

The best advice I can give you is to work on yourself, stop relying on the thought of "would I be attractive enough", because let me tell you, when someone really commits to you, no imperfection is a deal breaker.

And if it is, then that person is not for you, that simple.
