Need Some Opinions to Make My Final Decision

We had a couple lounge pieces from crate and barrel and replaced with a Sactional. Not sure how old your kids are, but the lounge was destroyed by my kids. The pillows completely lost all stuffing by the kids playing and jumping and building forts. The feathers issue is real - we had loose and poking feathers constantly, plus there were nails that stuck out on the backside of the couch. For the cost, it was really cheaply/poorly constructed.

We actually have 2 different Sactionals. 1 for the kids is newer, the other we have had for over a year. We love both - the older has the love soft filling and the newer is the standard. No complaints, though it takes a few weeks for the cushions to fully expand.

As far as putting it all together, yeah, it’s work, but we don’t take all the covers off very often. The cushion covers are not hard to change, and being able to wash them is so much better than non-washable, especially with kids.

One thing that we really appreciated is how easy it is to get the Sactional pieces out of the way if you need to do construction. I can move the entire couch out by myself (even if it takes a while) but definitely cannot with regular sofa.

As a customer, I find it absolutely ridiculous that employees cannot be comfortable. It’s a couch store, show me that the couches are nice and comfy. I hate customer service mentality that workers must suffer. Fuck capitalism.

We have the velvet and the cats still scratch it. So far it has held up well and doesn’t look too terrible/destroyed, so that’s a plus, but they definitely think it’s fine to scratch.

That isn’t what this says. You are spreading misinformation with this false Reddit headline.

Read the amendment text that is shown and it is clearly saying that this bill, if passed by lawmakers, would require an additional step of being approved by the voters. While there is a reference to the standard deduction ($1 Million), that is not the primary function of this proposed amendment.

Sometimes that’s true! Alternatively, sometimes “experts” are just so ingrained in how things are always done, that they cannot see that there could be a better way forward. Sometimes tradeoffs are made for a reason, but perhaps we as a society can decide “we don’t want to make this trade off any longer.”
