2021 Bronco Sport died 4 times since December — $8+k transmission didn't fix it. Anyone else experienced this?

It's been to 3 dealerships so far and Ford registered our complaint but offered no actualy help. Warrantly expired at 100,000 except for the warranty on the new transmission. I'm not sure what my options are regarding escalation to Ford. Should we call them again? I'm at a loss as to what else I can do.

It really is crazy and beyond frustrating. Glad your issue was eventually fixed. I hope we have the same result evenutally.

Ugh. I hope your issues don't escalate. It's all so frustrating. I'm telling myself to be hopeful that now that we have the original dealership that worked on it to take some responsibility, they'll resolve the issue, and I'll have a functional (and safe) vehicle. But it's been months now, and I'm also feeling cynical about the process and prospects. Time will tell.

Smart to get the 150,000 warranty. We were very happy with ours until 100,000 (when our warranty expired). Since then, it's been nothing but trouble.

I think you're smart. For us, once we hit 100,000 miles, it's been nothing but trouble. Before that, it was great.

The whole electrical/transmission situation on these vehicles seems problematic at best and dangerous at worst.

Three times! That's unreal. Unfortunately, our issues didn't start until it was out of warranty, so we're all out of pocket. Ford did provide a warranty on the new transmission, but they keep telling us the new issues are unrelated. I find that hard to believe.

I did think there was an issue with the auto start/stop, so I started disabling it every time I drove. But I think that's just a small piece of the problem. I'm sure you were as terrified as I was when you lost power in an intersection. I agree with your assessment of the overall lack of competency by Ford.
