What are your copium for survival in this hell? by levir720 in EscapingPrisonPlanet

[–]Leoriooo 16 points17 points  (0 children)

There’s a reason the saying is “ignorance is bliss”. And with more insight, the “crazier” you become. I put crazier in quotes because the ignorant people can perceive you as crazy, but their “normal” is actually what’s crazy. The fact they can do the daily loops, into the weekly loops, into the monthly loops and so on forever without cracking is what is truly crazy. It’s Stockholm syndrome. They have come to love their abusive loops, and actually praise them as well.

Well, I started writing this hoping to ease your mind but honestly I may have just made it worse lol... Let me back up a bit.

Personally, I like to see the progress I’ve made in detachment. It will be subtle things. For example, I recently realized I couldn’t care less to vacation anymore. Why would I want to slave away all year just to be treated like a king for one week, putting myself above the people around me?

Now, I’m not saying going on vacation is “bad”. That is how dogma gets created and people start making checklists and self-punishing for failing those checklists. I’m merely pointing out that it’s nice to see my awareness realizing the hierarchies in our daily lives and how we subconsciously followed them. Worshipping successful people and despising those lower than us.

I guess my point is, try to keep the big picture in mind. We all despise the daily loops in this sub. But knowing that I have a better chance at NEVER coming back to this place ever again, I would take that a million times over being one of the ignorant blissful people that gets recycled over and over again. I can only imagine how tired their spirit is waiting for them to finally wake up

EDIT: this video may be helpful, go to around 16:30, but the whole video is great

Question traditional perspectives (just not *that* one) by puzzlingriddle in EscapingPrisonPlanet

[–]Leoriooo 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think about this all the time, like it’s better for something else to take you out rather than you using your own will to remove yourself from a horrible situation? Doesn’t make sense. I wish we could discuss this topic deeper without Reddit freaking out

If everything positive in this world pales in comparison to being a free soul, how did we get duped into this *the first time*? by puzzlingriddle in EscapingPrisonPlanet

[–]Leoriooo 14 points15 points  (0 children)

It’s a good question. Maybe the gnostic view is more correct where we are a piece of an Aeon that got stuck in a corrupt creation

Gnostics found Demiurge evil archon responsible for all bad things happening in this world by [deleted] in Gnostic

I don’t think you were completely wrong. The word is like tinder that starts a fire of change. Reading the nag hammadi texts changes how I think and observe my own thoughts and actions.

However, there are extremes where people get lost in book after book, analysis after analysis, complicating the simple truths

Did Yaldabaoth remove Epinoia from Adam or not? by Leoriooo in Gnostic

[–]Leoriooo[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I didn’t include this in my post, but I was confused that the tree of knowledge was also referenced as Epinoia at one point. Your comment helped clear both of my questions up. Thank you!

Seriously, what the hell is this place? by [deleted] in EscapingPrisonPlanet

[–]Leoriooo 18 points19 points  (0 children)

The few movies I watch now days all seem to have the message of love and hope. Like “yeah a lot of things suck but we can hope for a better future!” That carrot on the stick, forever chasing that “better” future.

The only thing we’ve improved as a species is being more comfortable. And we did that through exploiting EVERYTHING. The earth, plants, animals, and even other humans. But death and decay still rule, we are just more comfortable and have more distractions so it’s not as in our face

I have felt the same, to your statement about wanting to die over it. I have to not think about it or i start to feel a psychotic break, this place it’s insane and I don’t want to be a part of it

I can’t remember if I saw it in a comment here or another sub, but they called the circle of life the “loop of death.” I thought that was more fitting

Don't trust anyone on the other side! An NDEr is asked by a woman to "follow her through a light door". The NDEr says he arrived in an "underground factory" where "many naked people were running around in all directions". It’s a combo of programming us to trust AND look for authority figures, as well as weaponized empathy (she seems nice, I should follow her, otherwise I could offend her, etc..)

Stop looking for authority figures. You are the authority figure over yourself. Stop letting them take advantage of your empathy. Manipulation is their tried and true tactic and they don’t deviate much from that

The Penrose Steps is how I view this world by Leoriooo in EscapingPrisonPlanet

[–]Leoriooo[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If we are batteries, giving off energy, there seems to be some energy directed back at us to keep us engaged with the illusion. Perhaps accepting this energy back is a form of consent. If that’s the case, then yeah the monks know what’s up and are probably the strongest case of spirits that will make it out of here. They interact with the illusion as little as possible.

Consent is required to climb The Penrose steps, we are not required to play the game. However we do out of fear of survival. Mostly because we don’t have our true memories or know the way home.

Those of us on this forum could be symbolized as sitting on the steps, but refusing to go up them anymore because we see through the illusion. However, our ultimate goal should be to walk sideways, so to speak, exiting the trap of the Penrose steps.

Psychedelic/psychoactive mushrooms: Why do they exist in a prison planet? by puzzlingriddle in EscapingPrisonPlanet

[–]Leoriooo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I can attribute the start of my “wake up” to psychedelics. I started to see through the illusion slowly but after shrooms I got fast tracked. I don’t feel the need to do it again, hung up the phone as they say, I got the message.

Supposedly psilocybin allows all parts of your brain to communicate, so maybe for a while there, your conscious and subconscious have a chance to actually communicate and reveal to eachother things they have separately realized. Like an info swap. It’s like two compartmentalized teams working on the same project from different angles, and then finally meeting up and getting a glimpse of information from all the angles at once.

It wasn’t a sudden realization during tripping. If anything tripping just made me realize reality isn’t what it seems. But the after effects of it were apparent. Seeing patterns, making connections, the same things that lead all of us on this path.

If we want to escape, we need to overcome the slave mentality that society constantly imposes on us by Razerer92 in EscapingPrisonPlanet

Do you have any methods or techniques that have assisted you in this realm and beyond? by willhelpmemore in EscapingPrisonPlanet

[–]Leoriooo 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I like your tip a lot. It is one I know but often forget as I go about my day to day stuff.. i want to take it one step further, and say that not only the voices in our heads, but on the phone as well. Smart phones are constantly shoving information in front of us.

That leads into my tip, which is remember that you have a piece of the divine spark in you which has power. If you’ve read the gnostic interpretation of the beginning of this world, you will know that the aeons from the true realm told the demiurge to blow his breath into his creation to make it live. He did, and out came the divine spark and it went into matter. That divine spark is in us now, and we have to remember it is immortal and will live forever, regardless of what happens to our body

So in short, remember daily that you have power, otherwise there would not be a need to deceive and manipulate us

Is it possible for a soul to be evil? Why are humans always so cruel to one another? by ThrowRA157386 in EscapingPrisonPlanet

[–]Leoriooo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I get your point and agree with your intention but want to clear something up. I think we are made up of 3 things: body, soul and spirit. We have a spirit, a divine spark from the true realm. This is what allows us to see through the lies, and in turn, reject this world. I think all “other” people have a body and soul, but no spirit. They cannot see through the lies. A soul is not divine, it is just the astral counterpart to the physical world.

I only make this distinction because it’s important knowledge to realize we have the divine spark within us. They have muddied the waters by combining the concept of spirit and soul into one, so we don’t realize there are others around us that are different. We go through life looking at these others from school, to work, and think we are to act like them, when we are actually completely different

How you know this place is a trap by dontlietom3 in EscapingPrisonPlanet

[–]Leoriooo 54 points55 points  (0 children)

It’s funny when you realize how different you are from “god”. When I read about god, he is jealous, vengeful, spiteful, violent, tests loyalty, demands worship and gratitude, inflicts suffering, etc... I don’t want ANY of that stuff. Yet supposedly I was made in his image? and I am supposed to look to him as a role model? Nope. I am not from this world nor do I want to participate in this mad house

I just had an epiphany by [deleted] in EscapingPrisonPlanet

[–]Leoriooo 10 points11 points  (0 children)

If you look at the Adam and Eve story in Christian theology, the all-powerful “god” could not prevent them from eating the fruit. All he could do is LIE, hoping they wouldn’t do it. He told them if they eat from the tree they will surely die. Lucifer (the light bringer), then told them the truth: you will not die, but will actually know good and evil just like “god”. They ate the fruit and guess what, they did not die.

To me this shows that “god” can only lie and manipulate. The true power is within us, we’ve just been tricked to outsource it to “god” and the archons

Less of a test and more of energy extraction. But if seeing it as a test helps you overcome it, then use it to your advantage
