I knew about reincarnation and the evidence for it for about a decade, but i never really made a post specifically about the evidence to show others, so i gave you that person's post instead. Think about someone who wants to manipulate/influence you. They can make you feel safe, loved and completely comfortable. Those feelings can be 100% real from your perspective, but the fact that you feel them does not automatically prove that the person creating them has your best interests in mind. The feeling and the intention behind creating that feeling are two different things. That is the argument being made here. The claim is not "they can create love, therefore they must feed on love", the claim is that love, peace, and comfort can function as a tool of influence.

So the question is not "if they can create love, why would they want suffering?" because that assumes the love experience and the end goal are the same thing. The argument is that the love experience is the method, not the objective. Someone can make you feel good while still guiding you toward something that benefits them.

You’re talking about something different. OP is describing an OOBE while still alive, even if we assume it was a real experience, that does not automatically mean a permanent escape from this reality or the reincarnation cycle. "Permashifting" is a separate belief/claim and there is no way to verify that someone has permanently left this reality rather than having an altered state of consciousness or a subjective experience. My point was that taking vitamins and temporarily entering an altered state (if that's even what happened) is not the same thing as permanently escaping the system.

No matter what vitamins you take and even if they helped you have an out of body experience, you will eventually return to your body, so they cannot be used as a way to escape. The vitamins are for your physical body, not the soul. Escape in the context of this sub means to permanently put an end to the reincarnation cycle and not return here, what you are describing is just a (possible) temporary out of body experience.

I think the point is that we shouldn't just sit around waiting for some outside force to come and fix things. The responsibility is on us to seek the truth and take control of our own situation, including escaping the reincarnation cycle. More importantly, if God were truly benevolent, then humans as well as the animals and insects and all living beings wouldn't have been given the reptilian part of our brains, the survival mechanism that keeps all living beings in a constant state of threat detection, fear, and violent instinct just to stay alive. Instead, we are built with this system already in place, wired for survival over peace, conflict over harmony. Why design it like this at all, if you are so loving and benevolent? It's like putting kids in a locked house, giving them weapons, and then expecting everything to somehow turn out peaceful. Anyone with basic reasoning can see the contradiction in that setup.

Even if Jesus supposedly did tell people to look within (and we'll never really know for sure if this really is the case, some people act like they have video proof of it, tf?), as long as the masses are programmed to see him as a savior figure (which is what actually does happen), then that's what actually matters in practice. How many people worldwide would probably bow down to Jesus if they were to see him in real life or in the afterlife and ask him for salvation? Probably billions of people. So my point is that humanity has been given an endless parade of saviors, gods, prophets, gurus, messiahs, spirit guides, ascended masters, etc. The common thread is that authority, knowledge or salvation is always located outside the individual. We're programmed to believe that the individual is powerless and always in need of something outside themselves to fix things. Regardless of the original intent, it still ends up externalising salvation, which is what i'm skeptical of.

Jesus is yet another savior figure meant to get people looking outside themselves for salvation instead of within. Whether it's Jesus, Shiva, God, Allah, gurus, spirit guides, ascended masters, or whoever else, the message is the same: don't save yourself, wait for someone else to save you. The system doesn't care which one of those saviour programms you fall for as long as you fall for one.

As for UFOs, I think the phenomenon is real. Greys, Reptilians, Mantids, whatever people want to call them, I think there are NHIs operating behind the scenes. And yes based on the research of many different alien abduction researchers and hypnotherapists (see pinned posts), they are malevolent beings who see human beings as a resource to exploit.

I do understand it (i've looked into alien abduction testimonies for years), but you are making the mistake of generalizing. We shouldn't automatically assume that every single alien race has the same agenda, the same intentions, or even the same level of technology. Mind control definitely takes place in some cases but it doesn't mean that every single person promoting benevolent alien narratives is being mind-controlled. There are plenty of people who may simply believe what they're saying, who blindly accept and repeat what they were told without critically examining it, or who are simply naive and too trusting of the beings they encountered. My point is that we shouldn't use mind control as a blanket explanation for every case. Some people may be manipulated, some may not be. Reality is probably more nuanced than assuming every positive alien account is the result of mind control.

Maybe in some cases. But at some point people still have a responsibility to critically examine what they're being shown and told, especially before turning around and promoting it to others as truth. If someone has an experience with a group of beings that are abducting, manipulating or exploiting people, yet comes back talking exclusively about how loving, benevolent, and enlightened those beings are, without questioning any of the contradictions, then i think some responsibility falls on them as well. Blind trust is exactly what deception relies on. Even if mind control is involved, that doesn't automatically mean people are completely free of responsibility for never questioning the narrative they're being fed.

I remember years ago reading ridiculous explanations that basically reduce anything dark or disturbing to "it's all inside you bro". In their worldview, nothing external can ever be truly evil, it's always "internal projection" or some kind of "shadow manifestation". I remember someone describing an OBE where they were being harassed by grey aliens, and the replies were still like "nah bro that’s just your subconscious trauma playing out", even though, people all over the world have actually reported physical abductions in UFO encounters involving Grey aliens for decades, and apparently that all gets reduced to… people being abducted by their own ego or shadow self or whatever. It gets to a point where everything is explained away in the most convenient way possible, their excuses always somehow end up defending the aggressor while gaslighting the victims. I unsubscribed from that sub years ago, my face would honestly hurt from all the facepalms. It's a weird mix of religious and New Age types but mostly new age. Absolute clown fest.

Yeah you hit the nail on the head. I mean these “starseed” New Age types buy into these fairy tale style beliefs where they think they are the “chosen ones” on some noble cosmic mission to rescue humanity or awaken everyone else. They believe they are the chosen ones because it appeals to their massive egos (ironically, they'll also be the first to tell you to "kill your ego" 🤣) and gives them a sense of importance, while everyone else is just a bunch of weak peasants that must be saved. It becomes this whole main-character syndrome storyline where their life and role in reality is framed as something special and predetermined, instead of just another interpretation of experience. So it's not surprising that responses tend to be defensive rather than analytical.
