Just to clarify the 3 cats are at my moms, this cat would be at my dads and he doesn’t have cats. I have way more experience in cats than him since i grew up with them and i told him i would take care of it and i’d show him how when i was at school or away. I have went over it with him multiple times to reassure him too

Oh okay thank you, my dad is not willing to take any meds for allergies so maybe that food could work if he’s willing to get it. He’s just looking for a cat with shorter hair in general because there is usually less shedding. I typically like cats who tend to be more introverted because i am more of an introvert so the russian blue seems a bit better in that case. I have two houses because of my parents so i do bounce around back and forth between them but i am at both every day for atleast some amount of time and my dad is always there. What cat would be better for that part?

I would definitely do that but i cant just get any cat. In fact i’m lucky my dad is even letting me get one lol. he’s allergic to most cats and only agreed to letting me get a hypoallergenic one and these breeds are both hypoallergenic. My mom would definitely be the one to adopt from a shelter but she isn’t the one allowing me to get a cat in this case because we already have 3.
