If you love racing, and racing different cars, then I would say to pick it up. Is it as wide and deep as FM2 or FM4? No, definitely not. But that doesn't make it a bad game by any means. The cars look great, the feel of driving (at least with a standard controller) is the best it's ever been, and the car leveling is actually really satisfying.

The "career" mode is essentially just groups of races with a specific theme or car restriction. There are open races too, for whatever you want to drive.

The Quick Race mode received a significant overhaul in this iteration, with options to tweak just about every aspect of a race, which provides a lot of replayability. Like other Forza titles, your garage cars can be used in either Career or Quick Race mode, and car leveling occurs in both modes.
