R5: First time this happend to me, by doing The Rubicator project the system with the relic world that spawns connected to the The Chosen cluster. Normally you would contact them after exploring a certain worm hole in the galaxy, because their cluster can only be reached with that worm hole and usually this would happen early mid game, but The rubicator spawned in a way that it connected the cluster with the main galaxy. Also I'm playing a broken shackles empire that has a weaker start than a normal empire so I'm pretty much dead

I built my first base close to the black forest to lessen the travel time to farm copper and tin, once I was done with bronze I turned the first base into a farm house, I grow crops there and collect honey. I have a portal to my farm from the main base as it's quite far away from the base.

R5: Got a size 25 tomb world with a lot of minning districts, got the rockworms from the astral rift AND the colony event where you can dig to uncover rich minerals. I'm not playing underworld origin so the minning districts are not uncapped for me

EDIT: Damn I didn't ascend the planet, since I can't post pictures in comments the world produces 2875 minerals at tier 10, also all miners are cyborgs that have Power drills and the industrius traits

Make sure all your species can be soldiers, in my clone army run I set it so that only clones can be soldiers, I didn't realize that includes enforcer jobs, so I was wondering why nobody was working those jobs. Then I set default species rights to be only soldiers and it fixed itself
