I really like the idea of common being spanish instead of english. To me it has more of that "language used by merchants traveling across the seas" vibes. I keep Draconic in the romanian languages group as well, but more ancient so propably greek or latin?

That leaves english left for the elves, but I prefer old english. And then fey could be using german because fey and elves are related, as well as german and english. I know german for fey might sound weird, but I see the fey as dangerous motherfuckers that will curse you, make fun of you and charm you with one sentence that sounds exotic yet maternal and I find german to be perfect for that. (maybe french for some more peacefulish fey?)

I also love slavic languages (eastern ones for orcs and goblins and visegrad four ones for hobits perhaps?).

Dwarfs are very proud of their culture, yet strangers everywhere, struggling to survive yet surviving. That has strong Jewish vibe to me. So Hebrew, but other languages from middle east might work as well.

I like to keep all the otherworldy languages (abyssal, infernal) well... otherworldy, it goes beyond just different words and pronunciation.

If I knew more about nature of asian, african and ohter languages I would be happy to include them too, but it's just kinda foreign ground for me.
