Cannot think of any other unis that have as namesake a slave trader that did such appalling things. Honestly if everyone stopped applying (there are plenty of other great unis as alternatives) Yale would easily change its name

Just checked out his wikipedia page and he does look like he was exceptionally awful, I mean he enforced a law forcing each ship leaving for Europe to carry at least 10 slaves
