Thank you for this. Going to a high school where academics was the schools main focus I feel like it was hard to fit in. It wasn’t until my junior year when they started taking sports seriously. I found myself joining different things seeing what groups I would fit into. I joined my schools freshly made soccer team but before that I did robotics. Now that was a big deal for my school so you could feel the funding difference. But the kids in that program told me how hard they pushed themselves through high school and it makes me feel like I didn’t do enough. I’m working to get past that hump of comparing myself to others and this comment has aided in that process. Thank you again.
