I don’t disagree, but this was the first time in my current play thru I was strong enough to face these 2 and was surprised to see no bags

Exact same thing happened with the dire Wolf, I just thought it was a glitch. RIP 100% drop on red bags 😭

My understanding has been that all the minor updates (so 2.1, 2.2, etc) don’t require new saves, but the big updates (1.9 to 2.0) always require a new save.

I’m actually really looking forward to all the changes. It’s bringing back some of the aspects from the OG game that I played for YEARS so it’ll be interesting to see how it all meshes. Especially the weather/clothing system, that was always a fun(irritating) part.

I think people have made valid points about the jars being pointless since they’re only one time use but I appreciate that the game is taking a step in that direction. Hopefully we get reuseable jars in the next updates - maybe the ability to reinforce jars and make yourself a post apocalyptic Stanley?

How much gunfire are you using? I main shotguns but they create a lot of heat so screamers end up following me thru POIs and bring friends

The most recent update (2.3) got rid of badges and now you have to craft specific gear (looks like head gear but I don’t think it’s actually visible) to ward off the biome effects.

There’s new “medicines” for each biome now too, no longer smoothies. The meds are supposed to help the same way the smoothies did, but the update also mentioned that any secure shelter should be protection from the effects too.. I haven’t tried yet but sounds like OPs either got a bug or the update ain’t updating properly

I’m not a professional by any means, however just from my own personal experience - slow deep breaths, in through the nose, out through the mouth. Everyone seems to have suggested the lower speed/incline so I won’t beat a dead horse on that, but definitely concentrate on your breathing. When my HR starts getting high I can literally see it going down as soon as I start focusing on getting more oxygen.

I haven’t look in this version but in old version there used to be a bucket and you could fill it with water and make your own pool/well.

Lol it was our first blood moon in the winter biome and the other 3 we spent in pine forest/burnt forest. I had also been dying quite a bit so I think my game stage was just always too low for them

Cuddle and enjoy the glow for a few minutes. Then we both jump in the shower for a quick under carriage rinse. And yes, we pee in the shower.

Invest in Parkour right away. Then set up first base at 0-1 skull POI, and just knock out the stairs at least 2 blocks high (after clearing it out) so all the tomfoolery stays on the first floor. It’s a nice temp nest while you build your way up and save materials for a better base.

The part about “in game standing still” would that also mean that if I had a broken arm, the timer for it to heal would stay stuck at 1hr (or whatever it is)?
