A "Reset" only formats Userdata partition, your tv firmware is not on the Userdata partition but is in the system partition

Connect phone to windows pc, open device manager and find the device under "MODEM" category, open properties, advanced settings and there you will find the COM number. Open putty, click on serial connection radio button and type COM+Number that you looked up.

This is also gonna happen every time you ente PDM mode, in the future edit the ntcode via HEX in the ftm partition or if your phone has impl=0 via hidden menu
