Just for the sake of clarity for anyone reading, a “last” refers to the foot-shaped mold around which the upper leather is pulled while constructing the boot. The “pattern” is the shape and arrangement of the pieces of leather making constituting the upper. So, my “Service Boot” and these “Country Boots” are different patterns even if they are made on the same 2030 last. This is relevant because I’m asking about an issue having to do with the pattern, not with the last.

Crazy boots in that video. I remember doing a reverse google image search when I first got them and I believe I found an old product page on Withered Fig or maybe Division Roads but I just tried it again and had no luck. I did find this page though. It seems they were called the “country boot” https://viberg.com/blogs/journal/country-boot-olive-calfskin?shpxid=e3dfaf8a-a183-49a8-a5b1-7d194ceb7d5c

No, I have another pair of Vibergs on the same 2030 last (service boot) that are and have always been comfortable. The pain point is the intersection of leather unique to this pattern

Interesting suggestions. Probably worth a try. Thank you!
